OK, so here's my problem.
We checked out of Pop Century on October 3rd. On October 2nd I called in to reserve a room for next September under the free dining plan. We were very pleased to hear we could finally get into Port Orlens French Quarter. :sohappy: I reserved the room for my wife and I. Her sister who also stayed with us said that she didn't have the money to reserve the room so she regretfully declined.
On Saturday, October 3rd while on the airplane ride back home my wifes sister looked over at my wife and I and decided she wanted to come back on the plan and get her own room next September with us. I told her that's great and like the Einstein I am I told her to wait until we get our bags and get into the car for our trip back home to make the reservations. Reservations are open 24 hours a day 7 days a week right? Ummmmm, yeah, see where I am going with this! I was wrong, very wrong! When she made the call at 9PM exactly the offices were closed. I felt horrible!!
On Sunday, October 4th she made the call to reservations and explained what had happened. The reservationist was very nice and explained the policy. My wifes sister explained what happened and the reservationist put her on hold for about 5 minutes and came back on the phone to tell her after speaking to her manager they cannot help her out. My wifes sister will never forgive me!
I made a call to my AAA contact and she has yet to return my call :shrug:. I went to Disney's website and sent a lengthy letter explaining everything and have not heard a peep back.
I am kinda at a loss on what to do. I feel terrible I told her reservatons are open 24 hours when indeed they are not! Now my wife is considering canceling our Septemeber trip next year because her sister may not be able to join us on the trip.
Anny suggestions are welcome as to what I should do.
