There is a Disney Florist website (I don't have it, but I'm sure someone can supply it) that can have gift baskets with all different kids of things in it, sent to your room before arrival.

Have a Magical stay!

Florist website...

I'd love to check that out if anyone has it...I was thinking about having a Pal Mickey waiting, as it would avoid having to stop to pick one up before heading to the parks...

We did a pontoon boat fireworks from BC and watched ROE. A few years ago it cost $120 plus a tip (up to 10 people). I do believe that the price went up a lot since then.

Does anyone have any idea what it costs to have mICKEY WAITING IN YOUR ROOM?

More than you would want to spend on such young children, when you can see him for free in the parks or Chef Mickey's

I think it would cost between $500-$1000 for him to show up. I know we had that option at our wedding (Not our room-but that would have been funny-but at the wedding), (But we didnt) I dont remember the exact cost but its not cheep.

As others suggested a Pal Mickey, (Although just one and with 3 kids might get a little ugly  ) Or a basket + balloons of some sort that the florist could whip up would be nice.

Also check out www.allearsnet.com and search their tips for kids, I read alot of great ideas in their newsletter.

 The first park you go to, at guest services get them "first time" buttons. they will get lots of attention. also, do Chef Mickeys for sure and Liberty Tree Tavern character dinner is good, too.

We had a couple of Pal Mickeys on our last visit and I wasnt overly impressed, more of a pain in the butt to carry around. As far as you room, maybe a couple of sets of Mickey ears, autograph books, and maybe a little sweet treat to tie them over till you can get all unpacked and settled in. Have fun and no matter what you do they will be on cloud 9.

I just noticed you mentioned that you were staying at AKL, the view from your room will do alot. We stayed there for our first night back at Christmas of 05 and the kids loved lookign at the animals right out our window.

I had the same question (staying in AKL as well - strange coincidence!) and was directed to the Disney Florist place but it's not really what I wanted.

Is there any way to get AKL to deliver some AKL type things to the room - say a pen, key ring, maybe small mickey or an T-Shirt or something and how you would find out what was available?

Would rather have something AKL type themed as opposed to run of the mill buy it in any store Disney stuff as it's the staying in AKL itself that is extra special and they will buy stuff in ther parks anyway!
