Anybody but the Heat and the Rockets for me (Magic fans are still bitter about Benedict O'Neal and Me-Mac). I'll make my predictions, but the Heat-Nets series is subject to chance with Shaq's health. If he misses a game or two, then I would like the Nets chances. They are really hot right now anyways.

CHAMPIONS

San Antonio Spurs

I am not confident in these picks at all. It's really anyone's championship for the taking. I would not be surprised if ANY team won it this year. Memphis and New Jersey are good enough to win the whole thing, IMO. I'm so glad it's NBA playoff time. I like them so much better than anything March Madness has to offer.

Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't the lowest seed play the highest seed in the second round? (ie: Miami would play Indiana instead of Washington due to the seeding)

I know it is unlikely, but Wizards all the way.

I'm not a basketball fan, but it'd be cool if the Heat won this year.

No, the NBA uses a bracket-oriented instead of seed-oriented playoff. The 1 vs. 8 winner plays the 4 vs. 5 winner in the second round in each conference regardless of any upsets in the other part of the bracket.

Heat wins it all over the Suns. Shaq at playoff time with something to prove is virtually unstoppable.

My upset pick: Denver over San Antonio.

But, this is the NBA, the Lakers are out of it this year (and Lord knows how many years to follow), so I won't watch one game of the playoffs. The NBA is just boring.

It's not the baseball or football playoffs, so I could almost care less about who wins. But since I'm from Boston and feel they still have no chance, I'll say: GO CELTICS!!

HEY WAIT!!!!!!!!!! Don't count out my SIXERS! I mean.......really! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

I was hoping we'd play the Heat or Boston instead of the PIstons. I know we can beat the heat - have twice this year, and boston......pistons and our former coach scares me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GO SIXERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with you there. It just seems to appeal to me less and less every year. The NBA seems to be the opposite of other sports, in that dominant teams going for dynasties (Bulls and Lakers, most recently) makes it MORE interesting. When that type of thing happens in baseball and football, it tends to make the sport less appealing...at least, IMO. Since there's no really dominant team out there (Suns don't count, since they just got hot this year), I really don't care what happens.
