With this new movie coming through 20th Century Fox this time around you don't think they will do anything to the soundstage?..

IMO I for one would expand One Man's Dream and make it bigger..

but aren't they getting ready to release another one of movies/stories in the narnia series? they're more likely to keep the narnia stuff since the movie being out would make more people want to see it.

in my opinion they should completely take down the building. make it into a walkway behind for expanding pixar place. remove the studio bungalows (if that's what it is) behind prince caspian building...maybe put the anticipated monster's inc. roller coaster and some sort of ride for the incredibles.

I don't like the Incredibles idea, but definitely make some room for Monster's Inc. or use it to expand restroom areas. Plus, you could expand One Man's Dream.

well the incredibles was the only one i think that they really havent done anything with. toy story and finding nemo have representation in the parks. cars is getting a cars land in disneyland and i wouldnt like to see a replica here in dhs. maybe something with ratatouille or wall-e (but that might be replacing captain eo if the rumors are true. i have no idea what you would do with up but would def love to see something with that ride. hopefully if pixar's new film brave does good then we'll see something from them.

Maybe something to do with Pixar's shorts would be nice...you could keep the building for Narnia, but gut it and replace it with a museum/center for Pixar history.

Hmmm....I smell potential for the much awaited and wished for indoor roller coaster associated with Pixar place!

We went to the Narnia "exibit" just once and that was too many times. I really don't understand what they were going for with that waste of space but if they think they hit their mark for a viable attraction then they need a new pair of glasses.

I heard it was planned to close permanently after One Man's Dream reopened, and one would think it would be an easy and cheap exscuse to create a TRON show in the space, but no...Cheapness prevailed and there are no more plans to close it in the future. Even as a RIVIAL studio launches the movie, they are fine embarassing themselves with an advertisement for the last movie.

Needless to say, incredibly annoying...

Related question... what happens to Disney's rights to Narnia related stuff? Have those rights migrated to Fox?

Theme park rights are usually negotiated separately, since most movie studios don't own theme parks where they can exploit their movies. Also, my understanding of Narnia is that Disney was merely a distributer, so any theme park rights are probably tied to the distribution of the respective films. Fox doesn't own any theme parks, so assuming Disney tied the theme park rights to its original distribution deal, it's possible that they can continue to use Narnia.

Wow, that is just sad. We used to complain that every attraction Disney made was just a self-promotion... now they are even being too cheap to even promote themselves! As you said, running a permanent advertisement for an outdated movie from a franchise they no longer own is just embarrassing.

I do have plans to move Narnia from Hollywood Studios to Animal Kingdom as part of Beastly Kingdom's next-gen simulator ride.

The idea that Disney still has a Prince Caspian exhibit smack of as much lameness as the last (really, the only) time I saw the truncated, abbreviated, awfullated Art of Disney Animation exhibit. I pitied the poor animator, who, the same summer Shrek the Third was coming out, had to say with a straight face, that we all know Eddie Murphy as the voice of the rascally Mushu from Mulan, before interacting with a prerecorded Mushu. I said to my wife "In related news, George Clooney is best known for his work on The Facts of Life."
