Narnia Returns to DHS???

Now I am confused. I remember people on here saying Narnia was not being updated at the Studios. But this press release seems to indicate it is. Anyone know more?

There will be a new Narnia movie out soon, so that may be why. Do you know if they are making any changes to it? We have never gone inside because I heard it was a waste of time. Maybe they are making it better. :shrug:

It is kinda cool to do as a one time thing just to be like yeah I have done it. Overall though it is a waste of time after that, wish they could make it better.

There was a permit filed last month for rock work in the Narnia attraction so I would assume that it will be coming back shortly.

Maybe they will add some things from the new movie. I think we will check it out next time, just to see what it's all about.

The information for the updated Narnia attraction has actually been on the WDW News site for quite some time now:

Journey into Narnia: Prince Caspian – Guests can experience an exclusive opportunity to see behind-the-scenes footage, original concept art, storyboards, props and costumes from the latest installment of “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian.” They can explore Aslan’s stone table chamber set recreated directly from the original molds, see blueprints used for the motion picture, and meet Prince Caspian. Opening summer 2008 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

I hope they do it again for the new movie. I liked the last one, walking in there was breath taking. I mean I wouldn't go back more than once in a trip, but I still liked it.

So we get to wait in line then see the promotional trailer for the new movie even years after the movie has been released? Sweeeeet

The plan was to use the same spot and just update as each new film comes out. But lets see how this one does if they keep up with making them. I thought the attraction was amazing for no more then a 5 to 10 minute wait. I saw it opening week and thought the first 2 rooms were amzingly detailed, but waiting 45 min to watch a trailer for a film i had already seen is not something I would ever do again. While I am very happy TSM is taking up empty space, I miss the "behind the scenes" walk-thrus they used to have and would have liked to have seen that type of set up for Narnia.

But again they are making the effort to update it so I am not going to say anything else about it! I will just enjoy it in Aug!
