Hey all! In making our dining reservations, we decided to try a signature meal at Narcoosee's in the GF. The menu sounds absolutely delicious. I'm looking forward to the lobster and filet meal. :slurp: Has anyone eaten here? What are your opinions on it?

Thanks in advance!

I've been to Narcoosee's a few times and it's really good. I got the surf and turf (what you want to get), and it's awesome!

Another nice thing about Narcoosee's is the view across Seven Seas Lagoon. You have a great view of the water, the castle, and the Contemporary (although it may not be as nice now due to the new tower). It's one of my favorite views in Disney World (behind California Grill and the view of MK from Poly's beach).

Many of the WDW restaurants are changing the type of steak they serve. I have no information directly about Narcoosee's, though.

If it's really important to you, better find out first from disney dining or call the restaurant directly. I personally wouldn't care that much - lobster and sirloin or lobster and NY strip instead of lobster and filet wouldn't be that big a disappointment to me. But just wanted to mention it in case it is to you.

I haven't personally been to Narcoosee's, but I hear all good things about it. We keep saying we're going to go, but never seem to make it there. Hope you have a good time!

Narcoossee's is great--both the romantic ambience and the food. Not a place I would take kids, but that doesn't stop a lot of people. It's where we went before we got engaged!

We were there in December and there were 13 of us:lookaroun we all really enjoyed ourselves.....the "year of a million dreams" dessert was amazing and all the appetizers we tried were wonderful. I believe most of us got the surf and turf.....and for the most part it was good (some lobster was overdone and some of the filets were overdone) but you can't expect perfection when there's 13 people involved:lol: Service was above par and atmosphere could not be beat.......fireworks, water, magic kingdom view.....that was an ending to a WDW trip we'll never forget!!!!

Thanks!

Thanks everyone! It sounds fabulous! Can't wait to experience it. We made reservations for 8:00pm, so hopefully we'll still be there for Wishes at 9! :-)

We ate there for the first time last Christmas Eve and it was fantastic. We had the steak and the almond crusted cheese cake for desert. We made our reservation for 8:10 and it was perfect because just as we finished eating and before desert, it was time for Wishes. Our waiter waited until Wishes was done before he brought the desert. Service was impecable and the food was delicious. I would go back there in a hearbeat! Have fun!
