But AK could use a ride similar to this, I just don't see a Clone fitting in AK's theme in any way.
I'd trade new fantasyland for this.
I'm not trying to be condescending...but where/how would this fit in with AK? I'm legitimately trying to figure out how/where they would work it in...and I have nothing.
Mystic Manor? It just now opened if i'm not mistaken. In fact I hadn't even realized it was supposed to open this soon, thought it was sometime in June or later. What year was this built? Just curious! It's so cool! Love the "trackless" idea! WDW needs something like this!

Anyone know how big the show building for this is? Is it comparable to Dinosaur? Haunted Mansion?
That ride truly impressed me. Congrats whoever created this ride, you made a completely original charming and elaborate attraction that wasn't based on pre-existing properties! Now if we could only get rides like this at WDW...
I wouldn't say no to this in Adventureland or Animal Kingdom at all if given the chance to have it.

There's the million dollar question. Obviously Disney is capable of producing original, amazing dark rides in these past years (Mystic Manor, Radiator Springs Racers), but they chose to copy Disney California Adventure's D-Ticket dark ride. It makes more sense at DCA, where the park was dying. It helped to breathe life into the park and was a major player in re-shaping the image of Paradise Pier. I feel like they could have done so much more here in WDW.I see this video and think to myself if this dark ride is so amazing why couldn't have mermaid been on the same scale?
Here's another video. It doesn't show the pre show which explains the story but it does have better low light scenes and different angles.

That would be so cool if Little Mermaid used LPS, advanced audio-animatronics and groundbreaking special effects like featured on Mystic Manor...If you have WDI's "Making More Magic Real" book, you can find concept art for this type of "LPS", free-roaming version of a LM darkride... so something like it was considered for the MK at one point.
