Or the Space Port to DHS (loading area) could be in a show building by itself at the expansion pad beyond Imagination that was originally intended for the GMR and has nothing to do with what Jerry is working on and the Imagination Pavillion. The Star Wars tie-in at Future World could be simply just be transportation and no other attraction.

I'm thinking a Virtual Reality attraction. A unique spectacle with larger-than-life interactivity.

Put on your Steampunk Dream-goggles and Join Dreamfinder and Figment on a adventure through our ImagiNations!

I'm just not sure goggle-based VR is appropriate for a theme park setting.
Seems like there's too many capacity and hygiene barriers to making it viable.
Plus, the home versions are getting better and cheaper all the time.

They, in theory, could turn Imagination into a Star Wars themed attraction and space port. The port would then include a themed people mover to Star Wars Land at DHS. Disney has wanted to build a direct monorail or light rail to DHS over the years. Here's their chance to do it and pay for it at least in part with capital slated for Star Wars attractions!

He states this as if it is a fact. I am not sure about his track record, but I thought I would post it. My question is why does Mr. Rees say this is an Epcot project and not a Shanghai Disney project since it should open it Shanghai first?

Yeah but he's known for doing video and media projects such as that. Wouldn't shock me one bit if this is what it was. I think at this point people are hoping it's something else for the sake of hoping tdo can't be doing nothing with imagination or jerry's talents. But given their track record I see this rumor as being very, very plausible.

Well, I think it is very unlikely that the project that Rees was hinting at was Soarin'. He wouldn't say just Epcot and he wouldn't have said it was some "Next Gen interactive" thing (unless Soarin' is changing significantly beyond just getting a new film).

More likely IMHO is that he was involved in a project to replace Captain Eo, but that it was placed on the back burner -- or may have been cancelled -- and that is why we have seen links to the project removed.
