Mystery Project at Epcot

I have no idea what the "Basilisk" dinosaur is, but I think the Ellen AA is broken, if I've been reading correctly around here. I know I didn't see it on my trip.

I think he was reffering to the "Snake Like Creature" as Ellen says in the film...

This is what I've seen http://www.jerryrees.com/page19/page19.html supposedly rumored as a Imagination Pavilion attraction according to WDWThemeparks as a Blue Sky.

If it is this....

Are those two AAs broken, or did I just miss them somehow when I went? I saw Ellen and the dino in 2013, but in February I didn't see them.
I don't think it actually provides 100% of the energy needs.
Well, that's a bit obvious, otherwise you'd have a problem in cloudy weather or at later hours. But I think it's cool that they actually use solar energy for the ride to some degree.

Your first article is from a over a year ago and includes at the very top a denial of its cancellation by one of the creators.
The second article is a click-bait headline disney parks blog put out describing a flash-forward episode that aired in Februrary as the 'emotional finale' of the show. (not a finale for the show that was emotional)

However, I think it's pretty clear that the show is on it's last few episodes with Disney just letting them move at their own pace in finishing up the series.

There is only 2 more episodes left to air...
"O.W.C.A.
"Last Day of Summer"

Do you have a source on that, or if those are just the two episodes remaining that have been named (and therefore the only two future episodes listed on wikipedia)?
Last July it was mentioned in an article featuring the creators that there were approximately 20 episodes left to air (only 7 have aired since). The end of the series has been slow and ambiguous, I am just wondering if there has been more concrete news since then.

I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt that we're going to be surprised by a significant Epcot announcement this year. I would not consider Soarin', Frozen info, or Illuminations updates to be considered surprises.

Is it just me or does private event space belong somewhere else besides smack in the middle of a park where new attractions many more could experience and enjoy should be considered first

Maybe they make more on these private events but you have WOL pavilion, odyssey, and the large somewhat hidden building near Canada and uk where they host the dvc Merry member mixer in world showcase that should be used first IMO

That would require money which can be better used for stock buybacks and executive bonuses.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
LETS DO IT!!! LOL Who else is in? *crickets chirping* I know plenty of people are ready for this to go. I'd much rather see UoE make its way out already for it much needed retirement! The only good thing I hear people say about the attraction is "Its great to take a nap on!"
Except those bench seats are mighty uncomfortable.

Maybe we will hear some actual details during D23 this year when they are supposedly going to announce the Star Wars changes at DHS.

I'm curbing my enthusiasm, I'm expecting new merchandise to be announced at D23, TWDC will not do anything at the mess that used to be DHS until admissions drop more than 5% or UNI surpasses it in admission clicks

How many years has this been said, and then we get nothing at D23? I really hope that changes this year. That Avatar knife and the drawing on a piece of paper was totally lame last year. Was that D23. or another event?

I would be surprised if they changed the name of DHS without any additional announcements. I think there are plans in the pipeline. When they will announce/start major construction on the project is unknown.

Who knows, These days at Disney it's like the old Kremlinologists you try to figure out whats happening by who has been seen on the balcony at the Kremlin or in WDW's case who has been seen at the GF or Conteporary
