My video backlog clearing to Disney Central

Time to burn off some disc space for the new videos. Woohoo!

Regarding JII:
Version 1 - Overrated, IMO. Too cute and ultimately pointless for Epcot (puts on flame suit). Instead of relying on you to provide the imagination, it provided the imagination for you.
version 2 - I kinda liked it. There were times where it made you use your imagination (train sequence, illusion lab, star field, finale). Granted, the color and gravity lab sequences are pretty cheesy and useless.

The biggest problem is that it looked like you were travelling through some kind of warehouse. There were computers and electronics stacked everywhere, not having a real purpose. They should have molded it into something more resembling Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory (make it look scientific and professional, where everything has a purpose)

Version 3 - Haven't seen it personally (need to get down to WDW again soon). Looks like an improvement over Ver 2 because it involves another common element, Figment.

I am looking for the original Journey into Imagination tribute by Martin. I can't seem to find these videos on any of the servers on #DC. If someone could tell me where to find these, I would really appreciate it.

Can I point out a slight inaccuracy in your Rock 'n' Rollercoaster vid? You say it has a cobra roll, when it is infact a "roll-over"

Cobra Roll (Exit in opposite direction to entry) - (or if we are doing it in Rollercoaster Tycoon - Half-Loop Up, Right-Corkscrew, Right-Corkscrew, Half-Loop Down)

Roll-Over (Exit in same direction as entry) - (or if we are doing it in RCT - Half-Loop Up, Right-Corkscrew, Left-Corkscrew, Half-Loop Down)

My World of Motion Tribute second edition is at http://geoffreynease.com/download.php - I do hope it is somewhere at Disney Central. JII tribute second edition should be too - its far better than my first effort. I think SirLamer may used to have had them?

I just tried to get Canada from Geoffrey's site (I signed up), but everything seemed to be coming up as "Not Found" when clicking on the download link.

Would you be able to do a Big Thunder Mountain tribute next? With a little history in it, and comparisons between versions etc? That would be awesome!

Hmm - BTM - one of those where the history is longer than the ride :lol: I`ll certainly have a go - I have a lot of things from all 4 versions. MV3D is next though - started prepping already. And I`ll (try to) upload Soarin` tonight.

Geoffrey`s site went down today - I think he is defragging his drive.

Your best bet finding Martin's videos is on Dolby's server. He may not have the original JII you were looking for, sometimes he deletes the first edit when a second is put up. He has a LOT of large videos on his server and I'm sure he has to make space where available.

He does have the latest videos Martin uploaded, including Food Rocks. Try Dolby first. Some of the other servers have a few of Martin's videos, but Dolby seems to get them all. :sohappy:

nahh ...on the fileserver those files are stored on, are around 300 gigs of free space left .. that should be enough

Walk in to queue area & details of pyramid base (mosaics), full multi camera original ride with full stereo source audio (a cracking quality soundtrack - not the 'warpped' version generally available) , tour of the upstairs Imageworks. 162mb, 19minutes 47 seconds, 640x480 wmv.

Dolby - let me know when you have grabbed Soarin` off Distro and I`ll remve that and upload it. I don`t want to hog Distro`s capacity.
