Edit: I had my Wilderness Lodge set priced wrong. I did better than I thought
For those who would like to know... we got a Silver Wish Package (2 wishes per night). I saved all the receipts and here is the breakdown:
$67.87 - Teppanyaki (2 wishes)
$65.87 - Wilderness Lodge Lincoln logs Set (2 wishes)
$41.29 - Crystal Palace Breakfast (2 wishes)
$83.77 - Brown Derby (2 wishes)
$24.39 - Garden Grill (1 wish - Wendy was sick)
$34.56 - Kona Cafe (2 wishes)
$45.00 - Mickey Mouse Clock Sculpture (1 wish)
$35.00 - Mickey Mouse Frame/Box Keepsake (1 wish)
$39.99 - Imageworks Picture package (1 wish)
$107.99 - Rainforest Cafe (2 wishes)
Total - $545
Wishes cost $68 (per 2) x 4 nghts = $544
I used a Magic Kingdom card though so that took $75 off the package making the wishes total = $469.
I saved $76.
This inormation will show you many things to consider, for example... Dinner pays off much more than Breakfast, if anyone gets sick it is hard to get your money's worth (we planned to use all wishes for food, but when my wife got sick we could not), and do you really want to eat that much food or nice places normally? So just keep these things in mind. We wanted to be able to slpurge on this trip since it was a small one and we liked knowing the food was already paid for and we could get whatever we wanted. Plus it was a challenge to see if we could beat the odds. You also see that if we did not get our discount we would have nearly broke even. I recommend if you want to do wishes, just use the Bronze (unadvertised) option that allows one wish per day and use it on Dinner meals. Consider the fact that our son often got extras too at no charge... like drinks, cereal, kid's meal at Garden Grill. The CM's never said anything about it, so if you have young kids (mine is 2) you may be able to get some hidden extras in your adult wishes as well.
