I thought you would all enjoy this. I haven't posted here in a while because it depresses me when I know I won't get to go to Disney for a while.
My seasonal ticket expires on April 15th and I thought that I wouldn't be able to use it by then. Well after talking to my Dad on the phone, who was currently in Disney with my Mom, he had suggested that my boyfriend and I meet them in Orlando for a concert at the House of Blues this past Tuesday night. My boyfriend's class schedule is always hectic, but I had been studying for a test all day (Monday) that was at 5:15. We dicussed it and I said what the heck. At 5AM on Tuesday (my usual wake-up time is 10AM) I left Tallahassee by myself to meet my parents in Disney!!!!!
I got there and acted like it was just a typical day of a vacation in Disney: relaxed and ate breakfast at the hotel (POFQ). My whole love of Disney is BEING there, not making sure I get everything done.
We headed to MgM for RnRc and ToT, but decided the lines were too long for us, so we just hopped the boat for Epcot. We got off at my fav hotel Yacht&Beach Club and walked from there. It was the most beautiful day out. We ate in Canada (they had already had PS, just added one person): it was awesome.
We walked around the world, doing my favorite thing, rummaging and 'shopping' (since the merchandise doesn't change too often, you know what is in each country!). To say I did atleast one ride, we rode Imagination, one of my classic favs. There was no line, as usual.
We headed back to the hotel to hang out and get ready for our concert at House of Blues, in which my brother and his girlfriend drove from Miami to see with us.
So we had Me, from Tallahassee, My brother and his girlfriend, from Miami, and My parents (who had been there all week), from Fort Myers.
To say the least it was the best decision i've made in a while: skipped my classes on Tuesday to go to my favorite place in the world.
I got up at 7AM (ugh still early for me) to drive back to Tallahassee to make it to my afternoon classes.
I was there for less than 24 hours, but man was it worth it.
