I've only read the new speeches, and I've heard them on a rehearsal CD, but I haven't paid much attention. My opinion on this is based on what performers have told me. When the parade first started, there would be guests in tears from Pinocchios speech, now they're just like.. "big whoop"

they have already cheapened this parade. I liked it a lot when I saw it opening day and during CM previews

yes, it is the original. not all of the speeches are in the CD though.

the GBBT music is an underlying track in the Mickey float. you have to listen EXTREMELY carefully to hear it

I'm sorry but this really ES me off, I haven't even gotten a chance to see the darn thing yet, and it already a pile of crap?? I mean, I'm sure, at its whole, its still a good parade, but why all the changes???? And being in EVERY Commercial for WDW, you'd think it would be the most popular? I'm ed now. Many thanks goes out to the Disney Execs, who know how to ruin a great thing. Really, they should teach a class on it, they excell in it so much....:brick:

I was wondering the exact same thing. If the original was so moving as to bring tears to guests' eyes, then why would it be changed so soon? I have yet to see the parade, but since it was already built, how can such changes "save" money? What's the real reason the parade was altered? :veryconfu

guests were complaining that since in the commercials, the characters were playing with the kids, why weren't they in the actual parade.. that's why. they cut the music, and added to the show stop interaction

Wow. That's all I can say, wow, because I can't tell if your in a really angry mood, being sarcastic, or hate the Disney Company. CoP will not close for good anytime soon, too many people going now. Timekeeper will probably go, even tho I love it, by the end of the year or beginning of next. The Splash Mountain restraints won't be put in until the DL ones are done and have been used for a while to see if they work well. I have no clue what you are talking about with 20k, but nothing will happen there for a while. Eisner is , or so I've heard, going to be dropped soon; DON'T QUOTE ME ON THIS I DON"T KNOW IF THIS IS FACT OR NOT. The Russia and Israel pavilions were supposed be built like 4 years ago, but never materialized; Russia didn't happen because of economic trouble over there. Mission Space I can agree with, but not sure about the rehabs, I think testing will go well. Don't know anything about the parade and its future. As for ToT, it will be fine. And finally, BK WILL BE BUILT WITHIN THE NEXT 4 YEARS.

The crouds at CoP will make no difference..since Disney realizes (as should everyone else)...that it was SPRING BREAK that those long lines came from..not the appeal of the ride. Open it on the offseason and see what happens...

Tapestyr of Pressler was a joke. Along with the USSR and some other ones. But others are big predictions for me. I think BK won't see the light of day this year. All my MK predictions are based on prior happenings. M:S is the only one that is my prediction for Epcot. MGM, well, you know. Same with AK.
