I've subscribed to both over the years, and unfortunately, neither are going to give you what Disney Magazine gave you. If you are looking for that sort of content, spend your subscription dollars on something worthwhile like the WDWMAGIC Pass...
My kids get Disney Adventures but we won't be renewing it, they've outgrown it (my youngest is 10). I really don't care for Family Fun so I'll probably ask for a refund.
When I had elementary kids I subscribed to Family Fun and loved it. I thought it was fabulous. That was the magazine that suggested for April Fools day, fill the kids drinking cups with jello in the color of juice or koolaid they normally drink. My kids (now teens) still laugh about that.
You could visit the library and review both before you make your decision.
I would suggest a refund. FamilyFun has very loose ties to anything Disney. I asked my mom if she would take it, and she said no. I'm sure there are other publications (maybe not magazines) that would better suit your Disney craving. I think you will be sorely disappointed with Family Fun - and don't even think about Disney Adventures. It's a comic book.
I just requested a refund I might use it towards that other disney magazine that some people have been talking about on the boards. I can't remember the name of it right now (Eticket?) but I have the site bookmarked at home.
I got my last issue today. So sad. I guess it is alright though, I can learn much more from around here that in that mag. Still, I will miss it.
I think I'll just get a refund, I don't care for FamilyFun or Disney Adventures.
I'll be getting a refund. I wonder if the choice to cease publication will be regretted when they see how many people are making this decision. I'm sure they won't bring the magazine back though.
