My GF Didn't Experience Magic at WDW!

I had dated a non-WDW fan once. We actually became engaged and eventually married. I was never able to convince her to vacation at WDW.

After a bit of compromise (that's what marriage is all about, right?), she agreed to a one week vacation there, just the 2 of us.

It was the "just the 2 of us" part that was integral in persuading her to go. Once there, I made sure that I didn't overwhelm her by being at the parks before opening and staying until being kicked out (my usual m.o.). I arranged for some down time by the pool (we stayed at the Beach Club), romantic dinners, a few evenings at Pleasure Island, and made sure that we experienced all of the fireworks shows.

Because of this balance, my time in the parks were much more enjoyable than if we had just done it my way. Because of this, she was able to appreciate the parks and the magic that they provide.

Now, she's become more of a fan than I could have ever hoped for. She can't wait to get back down there.

Just shows you that a little bit of compromise can go a long way.

Buy her a guide book and get her visiting this site before you go again. Let her share other peoples enthusiasm for the most wonderful place in the world and perhaps you may convert her.
Go forth - share the World !!

I seriously want to go to a gospel church one of these days :D

I would love to sit in on an Islamic service. They seem to play such an integral part of international politics, and yet people seem to know so little about them.
