Kept a gas card I let her use once...even after we broke up....turns out...she ran up a 800+ $$ bill. We are thinking of calling the cops on her. We have given her plenty of time to pay. Any advice?

Definitely contact the authorities. But, depending on how the laws are in your state, you may not have a criminal case, and may not even have a civil case.
If you knowingly let her keep the card, you may not be able to show intent to steal. If you let her use the card, then you established consent for her to use the card, and you may not be able to show any fraud.
Did you ever ask her for the card back? Any witnesses? At least contact someone, and file a report. If nothing else, by having the report, you have something showing she didn't use the card with your consent. You might not be held accountable for the charges if you file the report with the company that holds the card.

Damn... That’s a LOT of beef jerky, twinkes, and windshield washer fluid.
First... Call the company that issued the card..... Cancel and close the acct... Then dispute all the charges she made.
I don’t know what legal rights you have though... since you gave/lent her the card. You might have to wind up paying for it... if the Credit issuer insists on being a hard a$s about it.
