Fair enough. To the OP, I meant it when I said nice. They are
I also think they are nice. I was obviously joking as well when I said get the earful tower on there. They look damn good.

Don't worry guys, I knew you were joking. I know the great battle between hat and no hat.

Nice job! What do you do with the posters you design?
Thanks! I sell them online at Imagekind and RedBubble, but I mostly use them as ways to get out my creative ideas when I'm not at work. Everyone's gotta have their side projects, and this is something that makes me happy when I'm not working. Plus I hope to be moving soon, so I'm basically creating the art that will cover the walls of my future house.
BTW, I really like your avatar. I'm a Cubs fan too, and I've got some baseball posters that I'm working on. One involves Wrigley!

Great design. Gradient mesh?

No, I actually hate drawing things in Illustrator itself. My process usually is to draw in Rhino first, import my lines into Illustrator to give them color, and then doing the final effects in Photoshop. So I created all the gradients in Photoshop. Having used so many design programs, I feel Illustrator is the clumsiest of all of them. I would love to see them tweak a lot of things in future CS's.

Anyway to get these made into som t-shirts...

My family and I are going back to WDW this Novemeber and I have been looking for some designs to be made into t-shirts and this is right up my alley. Is there anyway to get these prints made into t-shirts and if so how?

They look amazing! you have a wonderful talent

Well, thank you very much!

Yeah, absolutely. I can put them on RedBubble where I have other shirts as well. It will take me a little time to do it because each file has to be converted and changed, but it's not that big of a deal. I would probably make them without the quotes, because I'm not sure how those would print. Plus. I think a shirt is better with just the images. I'll post them on here and let you know when they're ready. Any specific ones you really have your heart set on?

Awesome posters!

Thanks!

Ok, I got one done so far. It's taking a lot more than I thought because I need to turn my gradients into halftones so they work on tshirts. So it has taken some figuring out by me, but they're slowly but surely turning out.
So first, the 1982- EPCOT Center poster is now available as a tshirt, hoodie, iPhone case, postcard, the whole nine yards. They are available on my RedBubble account here. The shirts probably will look best on black and give the most contrast, but I kind of like the navy blue too. Gives it a Back to the Future look. I'll try to get one done a week. Enjoy!

I've been super busy with work lately, but had a little free time today, so I decided to make a little compilation poster. I used the colors from the original designs and added them to the logos I made with the years each park opened. Enjoy!

I like the Disney shirt too. Just a thought, are these licensed through Disney, (are there copyright problems with these items)?

No, and no.

These are neat. What software program or programs did you use in creating these?

I draw everything in Rhino first. I like Rhino's command line and curve editor. It's much more intuitive and quicker to work in than Illustrator. I actually feel bad for people that draw things in Illustrator because it's such an awful experience. I then import my curves into Illustrator and fill them with colors, gradients, whatever. And then I do all of my final effects and editing in Photoshop. Sometimes I do gradients in Photoshop too. I've been doing my drawings this way for awhile, so it's become second nature switching between so many programs.

Alright, I got the next shirt done. The 1971 - Magic Kingdom poster is now available as a shirt, iPhone case, postcards, prints, everything. Get them on my RedBubble account. High quality prints also available on my Imagekind. Enjoy! The last two will hopefully come soon and I can consider this series done.

One more shirt conversion down, one to go. Figured it would be fitting to get the 1998 - Animal Kingdom one done today since it's the 14th anniversary of the park! So happy anniversary to the Animal Kingdom, and may there be many more good years ahead! The shirts, iPhone cases, stickers, postcards and whatnot are on my RedBubble.
