Oh come on, no one has mentioned Ghirardelli at Downtown Disney. Ya gotta try the trolley car and chocolate soda. One of those every few months fulfills my serious chocolate requirement.

My all-time absoulte favorite used to be served @ Portabello Yacht Club. It was a pastry shell filled with chocolate mousse and covered in white chocolate. They actually sent me the recipe (though I lost it), and the filling alone had 2 quarts of heavy cream and 6 eggs....oh, soooooo good =)

Both times I've been to WDW I stopped and got a chocolate eclair at the bakery in the France Pavillion in Epcot. How decadent are those things! WOW

I can't wait to take my mom and sister to that bakery when we're there in March. They're gonna LOVE it!

My fav dessert is sugar cookies, of course...:animwink: :slurp:

I have also enjoyed some very tasty pastries at the Main Street Bakery....and there was this one most excellant piece of chocolate cake at MGM way back in the day (back when H & V was a cafeteria, not a buffet :D )

My favorite dessert at WDW was the Chocolate Chip ice cream at a small stand outside of River Country. There was a large ice cream mixer right there at the stand (there's nothing like fresh ice cream!) :slurp:

With River Country closed, I don't know if it is still there or has been moved elsewhere. Anyone know?

I won't tell you how many of those Mickey Rice Krispie treats I brought home for the kids (yeah right!) but it was alot of fun to see the looks on their faces when they would "Discover!" a MickeyTreat! Now I just wished they would serve Deep Fried Cheesecake w/caramel sauce! That is my all time favorite dessert but I have only found it at a local restaurant over in St.Louis...maybe its a midwest thing..to batter dip and deep fry just about everything!
