It's called Goofy's Motor Mania and no, I don't know which Space Mountain for you to use as of late. You'll have to let me give it some thought.

After that park was built there would be two hotels. One based in the tropical rainforest of brazil and a atlantis theme hotel. A year later there would be a atlantis themed water park called atlantis adventure.
The next year Disney broadwalk would open.
The year after that a new ride should be added to the park most likely a dark ride for narnia.
The year after is the fifth aniversary a new hotel called disney kingdom hotel should open, mr toads adventure should open and an extension onto disney broadwalk and atlantis adventure should take place.
After all this there should be openings of more attractions, improvements and another hotel. For the tenth aniversary then resort shall see the opening of a second gate the park would be called disneys water world, it is not like the sea park in tokyo because it is like the animal kingdom a mixyure of rides and aquariams, whale shows and parades.
And for the final year of my plans a casino should open in disney broadwalk.

Nice ideas, I really like the rapids idea with Chip n Dale. I have plans for a second gate, called (taking StichCastle's idea) of Port Disney based on Disney Sea.

So far as Hotels go, I was also going to start with two:

The Grand Australlian: Taking aspects of Australlian Culture such as Sydney Oppra House and using australlian archtecture to create a top of the line hotel at the heart of the Disneyland resort area.

Disney's Outback Lodge: Similar to Wildermess Lodge, but with an Aussie twist. The pool area would be based around a scale model of Uluru (Ayers Rock)

Improved??? NOT!!!

It's just another vision...

:ROFLOL: Oh Corrus, come on, be easy on the guy. BTW guys, Corrus has probably forgot more things about Imagineering than you could ever know. So I'd take a listen when he says stuff.

All in all though I like the ideas.

Its mostly down to personal tatse really, but I liked mharrington's idea. I have used some of his ideas for my own version of Snow White, which would be a little longer due to the cars stopping for a short period in each room, telling the story as if turning the pages of a book.

After visiting every Disney Park in the world, the park I would want for my home city would

  • Have the Main Street of the magic Kingdom add a Walt’s Restaurant from Paris as well as the internal corridors from Paris.

  • Adventure land like the one at Paris (but include HKs Jungle Cruise and exchange There Indiana Jones Backward Coaster with a Temple of the forbidden skull)

  • Frontier land of Disneyland Paris, keep the HM exterior and relace the interior with Disneyland’s updated interior. Then add Splash Mt from JP

  • Disneyland Fantasyland but with Paris castle and IASW, Japans Pooh

  • Hong Kong’s tomorrow land but add Storm chasers and aquatopia from TDS.

  • No critter country, we don’t use the word critter,( and many small animals here can kill) but we do eat our national animal, kangaroo tastes a lot better than Boiled Eagle :slurp: (not a typo) (which tastes like chicken)

No Australian themed hotels, I would do the same as they have done in HK but I would add the Disneyland Hotel to the entrance like in Paris

And we would need a water park

I would suggest a location near Sydney on the north coast so as to be close to beaches, you will have to rely on international tourist as we do not have the population for a full scale park , I would recommend a rail transport system from Sydney International Airport (like HKs)

It's why I ummed and ahhed about Critter Country, but the theme is the US South, and it fits Splash Mountain wonderfully.

As great as the lands in other parks may be, I want to create something completly unique in Sydney, my location is near Sydney, like you said, so as to atract international tourists. The grand Australlian isn't so much australlian themed, more like using architecture native to the country like the Grand Floridain or the Grand Californain. I liked the idea of the Outback Lodge, and seeing as it's mainly going to be international tourists coming, I would think they would expect an Australlian resort to have an Australlian theme.

As for your atraction ideas, I'm not keen on the idea of Storm Chaser to be honest, and my it's a small world is based on the Anahaim design, complete with outdoor loading area.

The Haunted Mansion is located in Main Street, but it is pritty much the Florida atraction inside, the exterior will be similar to California, but obviously will fit in with the rest of Main Street

Jungle Cruise will be the classic Jungle Cruise, but obviously the animatronics would be updated, and things altered slightly. And there is an Indy ride like in Japan, but with a new storyline.

A Water park is planed for Phase 1 Resort expansion, as well as more hotels and Disney land Expansion.

Phase 2 would then add a second park (Port Disney)

the Paris IASW has an outdoor loading but it is coverd by an awning for weather (It's raining right now in Sydney) I was in every IASW about 5 months ago (except Tokyo it was down for overlay, I did it in 03) there has been great advances since the original, so far Paris is best and it has a clever after show.

How often does it rain down there? Because it rains in LA as well, but I just love the uncovered outdoor load system for soem reason

How come you haven't put up the attraction list for Toontown in your park yet? Could you do that, please?

It should be in the main list on page one?

If not here goes

Toon Town
  • Mickey's House
  • Donald's Boat Tours
  • Darkwing Duck: Let's Get Dangerous
  • City Hall (Character Greetings)
  • Ludwig Von Drake's House of Genius (credit mharrington)
  • Goofy's Motor Mania (credit mharrington for the name)
I really do love the Von Drake ride. Its so simple, yet so much fun. I just want to hear "The Donald Duck Club March"!

Donald's Boat Tours is sort of a Jungle Cruise/Aquatopia mix around Toon Town Lake.

My version of Goofy's Motor Mania is a Branstormer type ride (if you'd rather I can ghange the name mharrington, after all you did come up with it. I think it suits very well

If you're going with a Barnstormer ride, what will it look like?

And BTW, how come you haven't responded to my posts on the Disney Animation builidng?

I think the basic style will be taken from the WDW Barnstormer ride, possibly adding a few more turns and drops. I'm no good at describing track layout. But the Story is that Goofy has opened a Car Dealership, and takes you on a wild test drive. Simple enough story but gives plenty of scope for a detailed pre-show and queue building.

I thought I had responded?

It's been a few days since I updated here.

My newest thought is for the show in Fantasyland theatre, which is going to be princess based. I'm toying with ideas involving a wedding, but I'm not 100% sure which princess to feature as my heroine, I'm toying with Jasmine, but Sleeping Beauty is also a possibility.

Fire Mountain Verbal Ride Thru

The entrance to the queue would have a large banboo gate with torches either side of the ride logo. As you walk through the lush Jungle towards the looming Mt Ula-ahi you gain glimpses of the smoke rising from the top of the mountain. Soon you reach the base camp of an 1920's style expedition into the remains of a settlment on the slopes of the mountain. You are directed into a series of tents that cover the excavation. Riders will be able to look into the dig trences and see some of the artifacts that are bieng uncovered. The tens soon bring riders into a large crack in the mountain base where we are told Professer Thompson is waiting to show us his amazing discovary. The interrior of the volcano would belit with an eerie red glow of lava. after passing through the cave you would enter a large ceramonail room, where the dead of the tribe that inhabetied the settlement were prepared. Prof Thompson's aide then gives a short talk explaining that they believe that they may have stumbled upon a sacred temple buiult deep into the volcano, however the flow of lava has altered and paths that were accesable before are now inpassable by conventional methods.

Luckily, a new mode of transport has been discovered that will enable us to move across and along the lava channels safley. These vehicles will alow the party to invesegate the tunnels and to discover any historical or vauble remains. We are then taken into the load area where our "lava buggies" (working name) are waiting. The buggies are ataches to an overhead track (its a roller coaster after all) and resemble the cars of dulling dragons/nemsis or any other inverted coaster you care to name, except that there is a floor atached to them, making each set of seats into a sort of conpartment. The cars look like plate steel workings, kinda like a jules verne-esque style. Once we have boarded the cars are sent onwards into the darkness, uintil once again the red glow illuminates the view. We get a crackled raido message from Prof Thompson telling us that he believes that there may be something round the next corner. We turn the corner and enter a large room. behind us a rumbling is heard and prof thompson informs us there has been a rock slide blocking our path back, his radio transmission becomes static as the "lava" beneth us begins to bubble and a projection of the lava god Haku-a-ke-Ahi apears. We have violated the ancient burriel grounds and for our mistake we must be sacrificed to the flames. The cars begin to move forward again upwards, on the way up, we hearthe sound of screams (probably from riders before us) we reach the top of the lift and Haku begins to chant and the cars veer forward over the drop and plummet towards the flames, before we are burned to a crisp, the buggies start up again and send us hurling upwards and away from the lava. We hear prof thompson inform us he is looking for a way out. After several drops and turns. Haku raors that he will have his revenge for our trespass, and we hear the volcano errupt as we hurtle up, the floors of the buggies fall away (I know the technology exists, I just don't know how it works) and we hurtle into a corkscrew as the volcano colapses around us. The ride becomes wilder, with inversions, loops etc and more frantic radio messages from the professer. The ride ends as we arive safely at the base of the volcano and are able to be escauted to saftey.

Yes I'm aware the description of the actual track part was weak, but it's not easy to plut each turn, loop and drop into words

If you look at the atractions list on page 1, you will notice a couple of additions to the atractions list, and a couple of minor changes.

Firstly, Jungle Cruise has changed, It is now a combination of the traditional Jungle Cruise boat tour and a Jeep ride (similar to what was planned in Paris), with both atractions running side by side. I came up with the idea of using effects to enure the reide is always changing, meaning that the ride is never the same twice, making it more realistic & memorable (after all, it does have to compete with two big E-Tickets)

In Tomorrowland, I added the Tomorrowland raceway, now names Tomorrowland GP, the cars will be electric (as in HK) but would resemble F1 cars, as oposed to Indy cars. Just a little different for the new park

Out goes Fantasyland Theatre, and it is now replaced with the planned Beauty & the Beat show from Paris (using AA's and actors) I read the plans and loved it.
I also added The Voyage of The Little Mermaid (for a look at what it would have looked like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fBUMRk-nkdA)

Indiana Jones Ride

I came up with a few of the cool set pieces for "Indiana Jones & The Temple of the Lost Souls" ride that would be located in Adventureland.

  • An Anamatronic Indy cracking his whip at a giant Spider, shouting to the cars "Get out of here" as the drive past
  • The obligatory boulder chase, it just wouldn't be Indy without it
  • "Snakes, why did it have to be snakes!"
  • A collapsing roof sequence towards teh end as you race to escape the temple
I also envisaged a really dramatic score for the ride, really heart pounding, and the main Indy theme as you exit the ride
