I'm having the worst day. My boyfriend did the DUMBEST thing today. He told me that he doesn't really like me. He likes some girl that lives in Taiwan that he hasn't seen in 4 years. (?!?) He said that she isn't allowed to date until she is 18, so he is waiting until then.Geez. He should have told me about this 2 months ago! And he had to tell me first thing in the morning. Thus, I couldn't concentrate at school all day.

To make things worse, tomorrow is exactly 6 months since my best friend died.:cry: :cry: :cry:

Don't be so sad over your boyfriend. Guys come and go. He does sound like a grade A jerk though. You're probably too good for him ;)

I'm thinkin' of ya!! Go to Epcot this weekend and cheer your self up! We can't have a sad SillySpook! :)

Hey Silly,

I'm really sorry to hear about your boyfriend. I know it can be heartbreaking. You are a good person and someone even more wonderful will come along.

I am also very sorry to hear that it was so close to the 6 month anniversary of your friends death. Losing a friend through death is never easy and you will remember it for the rest of your life. At my age, I have lost too many friends to death. But I always try to remember the good things about each of them and how they help to shape my life. Be happy that you had the opportunity to have time with your friend and cherish the good memories of your friendship.

So don't be sad please, be the Silly we all know and love!!

I too will be remembering a friend tomorrow and I just want to let you know that you won't be alone and I'll be thinking about you as well. :( :(

Keep your head up, hon...there are plenty of honorable guys out there 'smart' enough to know that you're a good catch...
you have a right to feel hurt...and you did the correct thing coming here to cry on our shoulders.

Sillyspook, I´m sorry to hear about both things, but the bf thing bothers me a lot! What a jerk! (sorry..I know u love him, but I had to say it!).

I don´t know how long you have been with him, but he has shown no respect for you. If he likes that other girl he hasn´t seen in 4 years and is planning to wait for her, tell him to go ahead! Don´t lose your time with him.

f I were you, I wouldn´t mind about him and just let him do whatever he wants...he is not worth it... sorry, but he is only showing that... There will surely be another one who appreciattes you and sees how good you are, and not let you go.

In the mean time, make sure everybody knows you are available!! ;) hehe.... some promotion doesn´t kill anyone and helps a lot! ;)

Good luck and don´t lose sleep over him! :)


By the way... this thread is the proof that we don´t need any shrinks with these forums! The therapy sessions here are sooo good! hehe ;)

That is so true, Tramp.

Silly, I won't say forget him, because it's obvious that wont happen. But try to realise that he is simply proving to you what a waste of time, AND a poor judge he is. We all know you pretty well here, and it is obvious what a good person you are.

If this arsehead wants to leave you for someone he hasn't seen for 4 years let him. Better he does it now and you can start your life again, than staying with him and finding it out nearer that magical 18th birthday (!). You are a strong enough person to get over him, and you just know that we are all there for you.

I will be thinking about you and your friend today, and I am so sorry for your loss.

Hang in there Silly. This guy isn't worth your time or energy to be upset over. If he's that unfeeling, as hard as it may be, try to forget about him. Don't waste your time. You'll find someone else that's more deserving of your affection. If he doesn't appreciate you, then something is wrong with HIM.

And I'm so sorry about your friend...I can only imagine how hard it must be for you. Time will heal. And you know if you ever need to talk, your on-line family is always here.

(A really popular 7th grader likes my bf, my friends mom died, a bunch of new older people I met don't seem to like me...etc)
