Is the Christmas Party worth it for an old married couple? Since there will be no E-rides during our next visit, we might do MVMCP. Thanks for any input.

MVMCP fun for grown-ups?

MVMCP is definitely worth it for adults. I've gone a bunch of times with my grandmother, my mom, and my brother. We all enjoy it. It's really good because you can get on all the rides with a minimal wait. I recommend skipping the first parade and ride the rides and then see the second parade. We missed it last year, but before that we were there 4 yrs in a row. I'm hoping we can go again this year.

I loved it the first few years we went, but it is no longer a "must-do" for me.

The Christmas Party is *definitely* worthwhile! The parade is a lot of fun, the shows are pretty good, and it's a plus to be able to grab free hot chocolate (& cookies, if you're a cookie person) as you pass. But the coolest thing about the Christmas party is the fireworks display...be sure to stand where you can see the front of the castle for it! I've been to the last two Christmas Parties, and you can bet I won't be missing it this year.
BTW, my parents are an "old married couple" (married 32 years) and they enjoy it more than I do, and have even invited their parents along.

I really like the MVMCP. I am neither old (37) nor married but everyone I know who has gone loves it. I will be going again this year for my 4th year in a row. I just adore being on Main Street with the snow falling. It is a magical time for me. I hope you do decide to give it a shot. Belle

Hey, Belle! I agree with you: MVMCP must be a magical time! I am a 27 year old kid, and I just can't wait to see the shows, parades, everything! My aunt went to MVMCP, and she is 57 and she loved it!!! I would never miss it!!! :sohappy: :sohappy:
