It's been some time since we've been to WDW and there are a lot of new things we've never tried. We're taking our DDs for their first trip in Dec- they'll be 2 and 4 at trip time. In light of their ages and respective heights (DD4 is short ) + with this being their first trip...we're really trying to gear this trip more towards them - meaning we have no visions of doing it all or spending our day doing lots of rider swaps on rides with height restrictions. Of course we'd still like to work in a "big kid" ride or two per park. i.e. I'll definitely be working in Space Mtn in MK and need to finally ride Soarin' while at Epcot.

That being said- what is your "must ride- can't miss it" big kid ride(s) per park?

If you mean for you then some of the best rides you have to ride are Tower of Terror, Rock N' Roller Coaster, Expedition Everest and Mission Space. In my opinion these are the best "big kid rides" at Disney World I hope you have fun and enjoy your trip.

HI!

At Magic Kingdom I love Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, and Haunted Mansion.

Disney Hollywood Studios - Tower of Terror and Rockin Rollercoaster

Epcot - adore Soarin and Test Track is awesome

Animal Kingdom - pretty much Expedition Everest as many times as I can get on it LOL

Have fun!

MK- Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain

AK- Expedition Everest

Epcot- Both boat rides

DHS- TOT, Rockin Rollercoaster

MK: Splash Mountain and Big Thunder . . . I think we ride those at least 3x per trip

Epcot: I actually like Test Track. I'd say the best "big kid" part at this park is more the World Showcase's food and shopping than the rides.

DHS: ToT and TSMM. I'm over 30 and could do TSMM over and over again. It's a competition issue.

AK: Even though we do the big rides here, for us it's more about enjoying the animals and taking the time to appreciate the park's details.

I have to say that I avoided Soarin' for several trips. No real reason other than we simply didn't make time for it. Finally, during my last trip I made the decision that I was going to include Soarin' no matter what. And now it is one of my absolute favorite rides and I kick myself for missing it so many times.

At MK, no trip would be completed without a ride on Haunted Mansion (my all time favorite WDW ride) and Pirates. Essential Disney in my opinion.

I also love Dinosaur at AK. So fun and intense.

Have a great trip.
