Must do's for couples

It has been 4 years since we were at Disney and this is the first time with just my wife and I. I would appreciate any recommendations on things that others have done when visiting as a couple. I have read some of the guide books and several of the web sites, but it would be nice to hear from couples who have been there recently.
Thanks

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
Me and my DH did the Keys to the Kingdom tour and loved it!! Pretty much going as a couple we do all the regular popular things and do lots of dining and shopping! Lol Hard to pinpoint which things for y'all to do b/c there is so much. This year we are going to do the Backstage your at Animal Kingdom. The tours are good when it's just the 2 of you b/c some like the ones mentioned you have to be 16 and older to not ruin the magic for the little ones.
We personally have no children and do not plan on having any and we still recently joined DVC. My hubby is the "grumpy" type but Disney has started to rub off on him and he now looks forward to going. You both will love being there as a couple and I hope you both have a wonderful trip!! :)

Just my DH and I have gone the last 2 years. We've also done tours. We did the Keys tour last year and the Undiscovered at EPCOT. Backstage at AK is on our to do list but DH want to experience that with DD. We've also checked out lounges at night at DTD other resorts. We aren't the romantic or signature dining types but do enjoy going to different places for dinner. Too bad they discontinued the EPCOT Segway tour that was pretty fun too!

My DH and I go alone almost every year at Christmas. My favorite thing to do is walk from Epcot back entrance to the Boardwalk at sunset, hand in hand of course. Go to the left by ESPN Club and walk around clock wise, if you can't make it at sunset go at night much more romantic. We get a drink usually at Yacht or Beach Club and set out by the beach for a while enjoying the scene.
I also really enjoy in mid afternoon, stopping at Tambu Lounge at the Poly and have a few drinks, try to avoid around 4:30 it gets loud for the O'hana opening with everyone standing around to go into dinner.
Walking around Downtown Disney at night is also fun without kids.
Hope you enjoy:happy:

Do you mean adventurous stuff or romantic stuff or what? For adventurous, I'd go parasailing. Romance varies from couple to couple. Maybe a walk through the wooded area between WL and Fort Wilderness? Ride in a horse-drawn carriage? Quiet stroll through the World Showcase after Illuminations ends and everyone leaves?

we have done many tours as two adults with no kids. Keys to the kingdom was great, we did segway tour in ecpot but they no longer offer that tour, we have done the sunrise safari at AK, We did the living seas snorkeling tour that one was really cool. Oh yeah you can do a horse drawn carriage ride at the campgrounds, we "drank the world" in epcot. the firework cruises are awesome. and strolling the Boardwalk at night. they have a trek through the AK that we may do on our trip in Sept. Our upcoming January trip we are doing a firework cruise again. Tons to do for Adults!!!

My wife and I just got back fro, a week long trip without the kids. One night we went to the Boardwalk and just sat at a table, I had a 6-pack of Sam Adams Oktoberfest and she had a bunch of Smirnoff Ice. It was beautiful weather and watching the people, entertainment and boats come and go was soooo relaxing. Do the food and wine at Epcot one or two days. The slower pace is incredible.

These are great tips. My husband and I will be traveling to WDW in February for our first trip without our son. Thanks for asking the question and thanks for the tips. Maybe someone can answer this quick question. I'm sure it is on a thread somewhere but is also related to a couple replies. If you spend the evening and late into the night at the Boardwalk how do you travel back to your resort? Do you have to leave in order to get back to a lot at HS or EP to catch a bus?

This may not be the best option but a bus to DTD than to your resort. with the construction down there right now that will be a challenge and take some time.
