At Disneyland my must do's are: Matterhorn, Space Mountain, Pirate's of the Caribbean, it's a small world, Toontown, Mr. Toad, Tea cups, carousel, main street vehicles, Snow White, Alice in Wonderland, Autopia, Pinocchio, Casey Jr, Mickey & the Magical map, Storybook boats, & Indiana Jones.

DCA: all of Carsland, Monsters, Soarin', Tower of Terror, WOC, Toy Story Mania, Aladdin, & Muppetts

I definitely want to check out Mickey and the Magical Map. Hopefully I can swing this trip next year. My wife is down, we just need to convince my sister and law and her soon to be husband.

My husband didn't want to see this show at all, he thought it would be silly. He ended up loving it, he even said we should have gone to it earlier in the trip so we could have seen it again.

So we've talked a lot about attractions. Now I want to talk about food!

What are your must do restaurants?

The top two in-Park resturants i would recommend would be Blue Bayou at DL, and Carthay Circle at DCA.
Both have impressive dining atmospheres ( Blue Bayou exspecially ) and fab food.
Both are pricey...but you get what you pay for, particularly at Carthay.

EDIT: Oops...i see now that you have already dined at these spots.
In that case, i will offer Napa Rose and Steakhouse 55 as alternatives.
Have you sampled a Mint Julep yet from DLs New Orleans Sq.?
I assume you have already had the pleasure of having a Dole Whip while watching the Tiki Birds at DL..

Happy Dining, Dr. Jones !

We love Blue Bayou and Carthay Circle. But I've heard wonderful things about Napa Rose and Steakhouse 55. (Next trip will be tough. I doubt is be able to swing all 4..)

And I know that this might be sacrelige, but I've never actually has a Dole Whip...

Let the stoning begin.

WHAT..?!!
:jawdrop:

Oh my oh my...for that blasphemy we shall just have to drop you into the Well Of The Souls and let you become a permanent part of that archeological find, Dr. Jones.

Just kidding....but i have to admit i am surprised since you are a FL resident and have visited WDW many times.

Okay, just do yourself a huge favor and HAVE ONE when you go to DL.
It is pretty much a absolute MUST DO in every sense of the word...exspecially at DL.
Why?
Because unlike at WDW, you can actually enjoy your beverage IN the theatre watching the Tiki Birds entertain you.
A BIG plus in my opinion to the experience of enjoying a Dole Whip ( aka Pineapple Float )

:hungry:

Who knows? In a thousand years, even I may be worth something.

Next trip to MK it's happening for sure. And when we get to Disneyland again, we will watch the Tiki Birds and enjoy a Dole Whip

Have you been To DLR Texas?

I was there last year for the half marathon. Doing the Double Dumbo Dare this weekend. We stayed at the Grand Californian last year. The new DLR is amazing. Before that my last trip was in the early 90's, I think. My win/loss record at RSR was 3-1. :D
