Sorry if this has been posted on here before, but as i was visiting WDW 2 weeks ago, watching Happily ever after, the part where you hear go the distance from Hercules , is it me or does that just move you emotionally, i have others , the obvs one is ''when you wish upon a star'' ( gets me every time ) also once ''upon a dream'' , some music from Disney past and present has such a powerful presence, does anyone else feel this, I'm sure there are thousands that after the shows finish in M.K or H.S it brings a tear, not of sorrow but happiness, this post is hopefully gonna make people smile . and in todays world thats a good thing.

The ending of HEA with the transition from "You can Fly" to the ending theme is perfection. I also really love the ending to Disney Illuminations (Disneyland Paris show not Epcot). I actually really love the soundtrack to that show even though the show itself is only ok, especially compared to Dreams. Also the entirety of reflections of Earth, it's perfect.

Wish Upon a Star from the finale of Wishes, We Go On,, most of Momentous
We go on 😍, I listen to reflections on cd almost each month, and feel emotion when the music hits , I knew that show inside out, I lost a great friend a few years back, every time we go to Epcot, no matter the show, I give a nod to Nigel . That’s something I have to do each year. 👍

To be honest, it's a great big beautiful tomorrow really brings me to tears almost every time I hear it because of the nostalgia of Disney for me. I also LOVE. Hawaiian Roller Coaster. It is truly one of my favorite songs of all time. I've recently been listening to the soundtrack from Aulani in Hawaiian. It is such a completely wonderful and relaxing cd for me. I often listen to it in my backyard when I'm playing with my pup. The songs are renditions of Disney songs, but they are sung in the native Hawaiian. How utterly amazing is that? One of my other utter favorite songs is Go The Distance from the Hercules album. This song has a great deal of meaning to me personally. And, who of course could ever forget the song I See The Light from Tangled. My wonderful wife and I danced to it at our wedding song. What a truly most amazing song that is and album. Mandy Moore and Zachary Taylor Levi are the best singers, aren't they? Well, at least in my opinion! I also really enjoy piano songs by Lang Lang, etc to name just a few. Pretty much my whole life in the backyard is everything Disney most of the time. At night, my pup and I are often playing with toys to XM Disney a lot. Often, sometimes into the wee hours. Today it was so amazing because Tim Rice was doing his favorite songs on Be Our Guest, that's when you get to pick your 3 or 4 favorite songs and submit them to XM. I went to a play, Aida, back in the day written by Tim Rice and Elton John. It premiered in the city that I was in before it went on broadway. It's not Disney but about Egyptian pharoas. So awesome! Take care and have a wonderful and amazing day!

"Beating of our hearts" from the finale of Luminous.
The Soarin soundtrack.

Both of those I think work in conjunction with what you're seeing.

"Daisy Bell" (it's played in Main Street USA).
"Feed the Birds"
The "Reflections of China" overture, i.e. the portion that's played as entrance music, during the film it's the Macau/Hong Kong section.

What a reply, thank you so much 😍, my wife is just singing go the distance while I read this to her. Alls Disney have to do, is have Walt speak and play when you wish, and I’m gone , like big time gone ! Disney music can move like no other, I have another CD , for all the theme parks , bought it over 15 years ago, it has the old entrance theme to EPCOT, Legacy, it’s just fantastic ! Also when watching mickeys philarmagic, the part with the little mermaid . ‘’ you want thing am a bobs’’ I got 20’’ 🥴love that part . We’d love to go to Aulani, but can’t stretch the budget, so you enjoy for the both of us, 🤗thx

The background music they used to play in EPCOT over by The Seas behind Innoventions. No idea why, but for some reason that is WDW for me.

Also, Welcome Home from the AT053 Magestic Symphony, which the NY Yankees use for all of their ticket spots on the radio reminds me of WDW every time I hear it (and I hear it quite often) It just seems like something that should be played somewhere in WDW.

I really enjoy threads like these. Thanks OP.

I am currently thinking of some songs that cause nostalgia and happy emotions. They're probably a little unusual.

Grim Grinning Ghosts, because it was at the Haunted Mansion that my attitude changed from a sullen teenager longing to be on the golf course to one that caught the dream. Haunted Mansion remains my favorite. It's my ring tone!

If you Had Wings, because it was a ride that did not require a ticket and we rode it so many times and it was air conditioned and I like the idea of escape to other lands.

Hapa Dunani, because it spoke to my heart. This used to be played in the Kilimanjaro Safari queue. It's the Lord's Prayer in Swahili. I didn't know what it was at the time. It just touched me and I had to know more about it.
