On July 31st Disney+ will be adding a new Original Series Muppets Now. I am so excited for this as I love the Muppets. I hope this is a huge success.

Yea I hope it's well done. Muppet quality has been suspect at best. Hopefully they have a quality idea and it's not just thrown together. I love the muppets so I'm hoping for the best.
I really think if they get the right people behind this it can really work. So many people young and old love these characters.

Agreed. The right people are the key. Unfortunately unless he was just not talking, I haven't heard anything about Oz helping on this. It would go a long way for Disney to reach out to Frank as an adviser on the muppets. If not, at least get people involved that know and love the muppets. Like Favreau and the Mandalorian.
I absolutely agree. They need a creative team that can get this off on the right foot. People will watch it if the content is good because they not only know the characters they love them.
That is on Disney+ isn't it?

Yes it is! That was the first thing I watched as soon as I signed up on Disney+.
That is awesome. Don't laugh, but the first series I started watching was High School Musical: The Series. I loved the High School Musical Movies when I was little.

What excites me most about this project is the "unscripted" angle. I feel that when the Muppets have the freedom to speak off the cuff they can really shine. This reminds me of the screen tests they did while filming The Muppet Movie when they were on camera just goofing around.

There are 3 things I am highly anticipating coming to Disney+ in July and this is one of them. The other two are of course Hamilton and also The Mighty Ducks.

I am extremely excited for Hamilton as I have never seen it performed. I do have the soundtrack and love it. I would say Wicked is my all time favorite Broadway Musical though.
The Muppets though is an original series that I feel just needs to be a part of Disney+. They need new Muppets stuff to make us all laugh. That is what I am looking forward to in this series.

Yeah Hamilton is fantastic! Same with Wicked. I agree the Muppets really need a successful show.
