This sounds awesome! I love the muppets! Too bad I won't be down there for it. It is weird it will be at EPCOT. I hope it returns to WDW after or during its stay at HKDL.

Like I said in my first post, I have no idea what time or days they will be performing in the park! It is my understanding that they are only testing it here for two weeks and there is no set time or location. I really wish I could tell you more information but that is all I could get out of the manager. For the most part all it did today was sit inside a room off while they opened it up here and there to look inside it. I was extremely lucky that I even got the glimpse of it working that I did as it only lasted for about five minutes.

Here is a fun fact: Beaker when I first saw him didn't have his lab coat on. Under his lab coat is a small shirt with his tie attach to it. Without his lab coat on you can clearly see his underwear band poking out from his pants.

.

Thanks! I wasn't sure what time you'd posted (I didn't look, my fault!) so you never know if more info can come up.

I might be there tomorrow, and definitely Thursday to get photos (if this is available for photos, that is great - if not, that is fine too!) Thanks for the other details.

Any idea how much setup time they're going to take before the public gets a glimpse? Should it be out and about this week, or are the two weeks of performances going to start after a period of training, etc?

I would guess from what I saw today that all the setup is done and complete. I would imagine no training will be needed as they seemed to have a well experianced crew with them.

If it will only be there for a very limited time, it may be at Epcot for convience since there is an imagineer area backstage

I met Dave Golez this weekend at a Muppet seminar. (check my avatar) Interesting fact, Dave Golez voiced gonzo and Dr. Bunsen Honeydew. He also voices the current Figment at the Imagination Pavillion.

I'm sure that's not why Muppet Mobile Lab may be going into Epcot near Imagination. But I think it's pretty nifty.

I was at that same muppets weekend. unfortunately i did not get to see gonzo but i was at the banquet (got pictures with elmo) and was able to chat with jane henson.

I really hope disney does more attractions with the muppets. they can do soo many things with them in the parks.

Just a thought... is this a foreshadowing of the IMAG update? I really hope not since I think Figment and the Muppets would clash. I love the Muppets, but I think they would do better elsewhere, especially the Studios.

Anyway, hope I'm just being paranoid.

Do you have a larger version of that picture? That's pretty cool.

Maybe in the new JII, Figment will fight Gonzo in some sort of clash of imagination! Or maybe it's just random...

Dreamfinder: What about science...science...science...

Honeydew: Well my assistant Beaker here...

Beaker: Mee Me Me...

Honeydew: Yes Beaker, I was just getting to that...

Very interesting indeed.

More news from the home front! The Muppet Mobile labs was performing tests backstage today. I was also able to find out that the shows in the park will be located in front of the land or fountain or Mision Space.
