While it would be cool, i dont see any of these as economically feasible in the forseable future, with the current state of affairs when it comes to Disney Management and the still recovering economy. Bear in mind, Parks and Resorts took in less money in 2003 than 2002 according to the Annual Report. (Granted they sold the Angels but still)
I cant see any new capital investments being started until we see the attendance results of Philharmagic / M:S; especially with the motor stunt show under constriction. Perhaps once that is finished, and if new management is in place by then, perhaps those ideas will be revisited.
But if you ask the average 10-15 year old what a "Muppet" is, odds are they wouldn't have a clue. It looks like Disney missed their window of opportunity for a new "muppet land" in MGM. However, if they relaunch the show, my guess is that that it will be a 'wait-n-see' approach.
