Disney's been kicking the can for a new electrical parade exclusive to WDW for over 14 years now! It's an endless cycle of this image.

I still remember when the Disneyland sub-forum first broke news of the "Magic Happens" Parade months before D23 2019 officially announced it. If my memories correct, @TP2000 first heard information about this parade from a club or dinner by a few anonymous Imagineers.

Also I miss @Darkbeer1 :(

Not electrical parade related, but I just came across an extremely rare video recording of the Share A Dream Come True Parade running during the evening hours. @lentesta would get a kick out of this.

According to the uploader, it was shot sometime during the Winter season of 2001 when the Magic Kingdom used to run a parade at 6:00 PM when the sunset around 5:30 PM. A few hours before Spectromagic run at 9:00 PM.

They could run Share A Dream in the evening but not FoF? Mmhmm. There is no reason they can’t they just don’t want to. Likely because ops have been fighting hard to keep MK paradeless in the evening and because they don’t want to pay for the cast to run it. More likely the latter.

I've seen that Video......It looks too much like an After Park Hours SADCT Rehearsal to me.....

However, I think SADCT did run once at Night for the 100th Media around Dec 5th, 2001....Saw a clip on ET of SADCT at night with the Garlands!

There was talk on here of SADCT maybe filling in for Spectro or just cutting Spectro because of the dip in Crowds after Sep 2001, but MK really didn't change anything......

I didn't know SADCT actually had lighting effects until seeing this video. The nighttime performance makes the pixie dust effects on the floats during the show stop section much easier to notice compared to the daytime.

So now that we know the Drone rumor was actually for a new Disney Springs show, does this confirm Drones will Not have anything to do with a nighttime parade?

I would have liked an Actual Announcement about a Night Parade but OK........

No, I was not expecting one today!

Lol I would think a nighttime parade returning to WDW would be to big of news to just randomly post on social media. Best bet, IF they are ready this time, is the D23 expo. Depends if the plans got moved to a faster burner? Hahaha.

Now the post I want to see from @wdwmagic is Soon! 😉. Lol since I don’t think he will be able to confirm a D23 announcement.

I've listened to a couple D23 Previews this week (nothing official and not Insiders I don't think but good People)A Night Parade for D23 has not come up yet...

I'm surprised the DCL News came out before D23...

Not really surprised bloggers are not mentioning a nighttime parade in their D23 prediction videos after the multiple failures of an announcement the past few D23 events.

I think that was just a timing thing, as they kill the keel ceremony yesterday, and realised they hadn't actually announced the name yet. If it's set to have its maiden voyage in 2025, booking will likely open by September like the Treasure (maiden voyage in 2025), which is not that long after D23 to reveal the new spaces etc.

Anyone think that if they bring back the nighttime parade, we might see longer park hours again? What would be the point of having it if there wasn’t a decent amount downtime after the fireworks
