They also said Space Mountain would be turned into "Lightyear Mountain" in 2022 and that Tomorrowland in DLR would get an overhale with the people mover coming back. Take everything they put out with a massive grain of salt.
Point taken but hasn't Peoplemover's return gotten stronger?

There was some interesting music piping through to the edge of the hub area just beyond Adventureland last night. Not Baroque Hoedown, but most definitely more electronic than the usual hub/MSUSA fare.

It depends. Usually during D23 @wdwmagic will lock the ability to create new threads, and they will then create new threads/sub-forums/etc for the announcements. It would probably be a new thread though.
