Mr. Toads Wild Ride was a great little ride that took guests on a wild and crazy trip through the 1949 Disney film "The Adventures of Ichabod Crane and Mr. Toad". It operated from The Magic Kingdom's grand opening on October 1, 1971 to September 7, 1998, and is being replaced by "The Many Adventures of Winnie-the-Pooh". During the three-minute ride, Guests sat in old motor cars as they crashed through Toad Hall, barns, a gypsy camp, haystacks, and eventually a train, to end up in a very hot place. The ride also had encounters with all your favourite Mr. Toad characters including Ratty, Mole, Badger, the Weasels, and even the villainous bartender Winkie. One great thing about this ride, was that it had two completely different tracks (which they used on busy days) on which you saw completely different scenes! So, it was actually like two rides in one. Even though this ride was very low-tech, using black-light and mostly 2-D characters, it was still one of The Magic Kingdom's most popular rides, and will always be remembered.

Personally, I have never been able to deceide for myself if I think it was a good idea for MTWR to be closed down (considering what would be in the best interest of WDW and it's patrons). Despite that, I do miss the attraction, so I created this thread, so that we can discuss attraction info, and most importantly MTWR stories and memories.
To start it off, here are a handfull of MTWR links:
