Now why would they have gutted the entire attraction including the track in favor of Pooh when they thought they might bring it back? Where did you get your information from?

Maybe it will come back when 20,000 Leagues re-opens.

Pooh is mega-popular! Would they build a new attraction from ground up? Would it be a new ride system... I could see the trackless version of Pooh in Japan working for a cool Mr. Toad Ride, but I highly doubt it's coming back, still... there is a certain movie in the works... but I doubt it.

Mr. Toad's Wild Ride will not be coming back to Magic Kingdom within the next few years, who told you this rumor?? Even after several decades, it is doubtful! I suppose it really matters on what happens with the Pooh deal . Even then, I am sure they will be trying to target guests with more popular, well-known films. 'Toad' is still popular at Disneyland and shouldn't be there for years to come. :)

This rumor is actually true. Also, from my perch on the roof of the Contemporary late last night, I saw them pouring new footers for towers that will support the new skyway. Lately, I've seen alot of activity in the carpentry shops. Looks like they are refurbing the swan boats for reployment soon. Look for them to begin running again by the summer. I think they will require a B ticket.

 Wonder how Fast Pass will work with the ticket books returning.

:o I'd like to see the Swan Boats return though... SeaWorld has something like that.

I never rode the swan boats...but they look like they were a fun ride around the castle. Too bad they aren't around anymore.

The swan boats were an attraction at the hub of the park. These boats navigated through the moat that you cross going into each land. I think the attraction closed in the 80's. I believe the loading area is now the Guest Smoking Area for the Plaza Restaurant at the end of Main St.. If you look in the moat near Adventure Land you can still see some of the track

There is a website you can visit that will have more info, i think its called 'Yesterland'

I have heard rumors like this before... things that will NEVER EVER HAPPEN (and as much as most people would love to see it, the Toad we know and love is gone forever). If I remember correctly though, people who spread rumors like this are called something... what is it?....... oh yeah....

TROLL!!!

Any chance of Dreamflight coming back? :D

Actually, the rumor is true, since it's a rumor. However, the rumor isn't...valid... ;)
