I wonder if this means the Voices Of Liberty will be going away at the end of summer and not return? I also wonder what the movie choices will be. I would enjoy seeing a big Cinemascope classic like Mary Poppins on the big screen. But if it's something more modern and junky with precious yet smutty Disney Channel "stars" like Hannah Montana, then I'll pass. Let's hope they stick with the Walt Disney classics on this one.
Of course, the deviant side of me really wants to start an online campaign to vote for "Herbie Goes Bananas" and/or "The Apple Dumpling Gang" and throw off the vote tally a bit.
"EDITOR’S NOTE 8/3: The addition of Voices of Liberty out front this summer has done nothing to help the low attendance at the Mr. Lincoln show. Beginning August 23rd the theater is going to be used for special AP screenings of classic Disney movies on select evenings through October. APs will be able to vote online or at the park for which movies they want to see on the big screen, and then sign up for specific dates and specific movies. The upcoming AP movie nights should be the busiest the 400 seat Mr. Lincoln theater has been in decades. - Al Lutz"
