My oldest isn't really a movie watcher. I couldn't get her to watch most Disney movies when she was little. But she liked The Jungle Book. She couldn't say "Mowgli" when she was little (3 or 4) so she called him "Ugly". She called it "The Ugly Movie" and when she felt bad for him, she would say, "Awww, poor Ugly."

Really wish we could be there to see "Ugly" today. Oh well.

My daughter spoke REALLY early. When she was about 2-ish she was wearing a diaper and walking on her hands and feet and announced she was "Amanca", the girl from The Jungle Book. I told her HIS name was MOWGLI and they called HIM "a man cub", not "amanca". She refused to believe me. I would have LOVED to get a photo with Amanca!!
