I'm officially sick of and fed up with the way some mouse fans behave.

If i hear one more comment starting with "From what i know..." or "You're wrong because i heard.." in reference to something I tried to nicely explain to some lesser informed individuals, the wrath of the tiki will be swift upon you.

I try to provide these board with a much information which is factual as I can. If you don't appreciate it, or don't start showing some respect and stop naysaying every comment I make, there wont be anymore information. I wont dig around for answers to your quesions. I wont spend my time drudging the archive that you don't have access to so you can plan your day accordingly.

You wont be given advanced notice of closures or special events if you don't appreciate it and realize i'm not jsut spouting crap like other users often do.

I don't report rumors or make wild guesses!

"From what I know..." What do you know? You're on the other side of the country and never even seen a ride schematic or talked to a designer or operator or imagineer.. how can you possibly claim to know anything?

Gah!

*angry*

It's human nature to be skeptical. If someone has a trusted source that contradicts your information, they will probably go with the one they are more familiar with (no matter how wrong it may be). You can't control who they will or will not trust, so there's no point in getting upset about it. I'm sure its frustrating, but it takes time to establish yourself as a trusted source. If you stick with it, these people may start telling other people, "My source RobFl says.....So you're wrong."

I just realized my studies of Epistemology now are indeed practical. You know, the theory of knowledge and how one can prove the "trueness" of their information and such.

First rule of trust-- you can't extract it forcibly. If we believed every poster who claimed to be "in the know" we'd be looking pretty stupid by now.

If your information is as good as you say it is, let it speak for itself, and in time people will view you as a credible source.

ANY piece of information placed here is up for discussion. Unless someone is truly attacking you personally (and if that's the case, I'm sorry) don't get so mad!

I must admit I did find the wrath of the tiki comment rather humorous  Good one!
