The crowds look insane!!! Was it like that all the time? It's shoulder to shoulder in your picture.
I agree that their little castle would be a disappointment to WDW fans.

It was more crowded than I expected. I had been checking wait times the previous 2 weeks and was hoping for low times but it seems they were higher the week we were there.

We tried to find a spot to catch the parade but people were already camped out. We ended up in front of the castle. It was a bit away but a good enough view. Here I go comparing again but Festival of Fantasy tops DL in my opinion. Some of the floats were beautiful but I didn’t care for the music. I think FoF’s floats are so much more elaborate. Maybe it has to do with the space they take up???

My timeline is a little fuzzy because I didn’t take pics of all our stops but we seemed to knock out quite a few rides at night. We rode Roger Rabbit, Nemo’s submarine, Storybook Canal boats. I noticed the cast members at DL did not give good directions or even any directions in some instances. We were loading the canal boats and they just waived us on and we almost flipped the boat!! There was no direction as to who should sit on which side of the boat. We also road Alice, Mr Toad, Pinochio. I wanted to ride the rides that WDW doesn’t have or are different versions.

We mobile ordered corndogs for dinner and joked that Lisa’s birthday meals consisted of mini corn dogs for lunch and corn dogs for dinner. 😂. We would make it up to her the next day. I am pretty sure we headed over to jungle cruise next and it began to rain while we were in the queue. I had no idea they had an upstairs queue. We put our ponchos on and made the best of it. Jordan and I were determined to ride Splash Mountain one last time. Lisa and Lauryn didn’t want to ride so Jordan & I headed to our log. Jordan asked the couple exiting how was it and they said… good luck!!🤦🏻‍♀️ We were soaked after the first drop and laughed throughout the whole ride. I couldn’t enjoy the ride because we kept getting soaked after each drop. Who knew they had so many. We exited drenched and cold. So glad it was the end of the night and we were headed to our hotel.

We waited about 45 minutes and rode the Monsters Inc ride.
Love the ride but 45 min wait!!
It is a cute dark ride but....
I remember doing something similar in 2006 when it opened but do not think I would do it again

My younger daughter Cassie was (and still is) a huge Boo fan - we went in 2005 for the 50th and it was still under construction and she was upset - so when we went again in 2006 it was a must do.

We still try to ride anytime we go but I would probably skip it at that wait time.

Following along!!

I agree Max. It was cute but wouldn't wait 45 minutes again. It just happened to be enough time before our lunch reservation. Thanks for following along.

Upon reading Lamplight Lounge’s menu none of us seemed impressed. We decided to give it a try. We had the potato skins for an appetizer which Lauryn had suggested because she had them before. They are not your typical potato skins but they were delicious. Jordan and I decided to share the Kung Pao Bao and the stone fruit salad. Both were pretty good so overall it was a win! I am pretty sure we headed to Ghirardelli for dessert.

Next we headed around to the swinging wheel of death. Just kidding, it wasn’t that bad. Lots of laughs even though Lauryn refused to ride it. We checked out the candy store and rode the Emotional Whirlwind. Jordan and I got in the single rider line for the Incredicoaster but as soon as we got out of the elevator were turned away because the ride had gone down.
