I'll admit that the concept is a good one I just don't like the execution and I'm definitely appreciative of the feat of engineering it took to develop the ride but it's just not my thing.

Understood. I just hate when someone calls it a glorified carnival attraction.

But SirGoofy rest assured that you and I do share one thing in common and that is a passion for JC far and away one of my favorite attractions!:)

Well, anyone with class and a sense of humor can agree on that one.

I don't hate Stitch as much as a lot of people seem to, but Alien Encounter was one of my favorite attractions and I was very sorry to see it changed.

Great thread idea! I had to go for SGE. I was a huge fan of AE, it was one of my top 5 WDW attractions, and was mortifyed to hear it was gone. I went on SGE with an open mind, and when it finished I looked at my Dad and he was mirroring the same look of disgust I had for what we had just experienced.

Shame on anyone who voted for Finding Nemo: The Musical replacing Tarzan Rocks!

And with as much demeanor that I can muster, shame on you, for disrepecting someone else's opinion. "Tarzan Rocks" brought energy, great songs and audience participation......................very upbeat for me. (I tried "Finding Nemo" twice, just to make sure I wasn't missing something; it just wasn't for me). JMO of course.

I'm really having a tough time deciding this one. I think I'm mostly torn between the Transportation and Imagination pavilions. While it sucked to lose my favorite ride, Horizons, SPACE does truly carry the EPCOT spirit and directive. Nemo is an awful theme for Future World, but it more or less just amounts to an overlay, and the basic foundational experience of Seas is still there. Once again, it sucked to lose 20K, but the New Fantasyland should make up for that some, and the playground is good so that there's something for little ones. Stitch is really bad, but is kind of an overlay to Alien Encounter, and I don't really expect it to last, anyways. Tiki Room sucks now, but in all likelihood will have a new show in the relative near future. Toad was replaced by a great ride, I'd consider the Energy change to Ellen more offensive than that. I loved Timekeeper, but MILF at least has the potential to be an excellent show. Nemo and Tarzan are both equally excellent shows, and my personal preference is actually towards Nemo. The Sound show, once again, is easily changeable.

I think my answer would have to be Test Track. Imagination has high odds that it will be restored to something more on par with the original. Unfortunately, Test Track will almost certainly be around for a long time. It's not likely that we'll see something that covers the true scope of transportation for a while. That's a big shame, because I could very easily see something done there that would share all of the exciting transportation concepts out there that would truly fascinate the average person and be much more fulfilling than Test Track.

Imagination for me.

I may vehemently disagree with the creative choices behind many of the other replacements, but I can usually follow the reasoning.

But Imagination...

Why change a perfectly fun ride for an inferior version of itself? :brick:

the only reason sge isn't getting my vote is because i wasn't a great fan of ae to begin with. i'd prob have to go for pooh, i used to love toad when i was younger.

My vote was for Stitch. Yech!

I'm just curious why you have such strong feelings against anyone who doesn't like Nemo. We enjoy Nemo and my daughter just finished a CP stint at the theater, but we also liked Tarzan Rocks very much.

While DL did in fact revive the subs, at WDW the entire area had been removed prior to the build of anything else, so I don't consider the presence of Pooh to be a replacement.

Stitch has my vote...what an aberration!
I voted for Journey replacement... but I originally clicked Stitch.

I'll agree with Evan. Im ok with M:S.

so yeah, drew carey's thing sucked, that's all there is to say about it, idk what was before it but it's on the list so I had to pick it. they give you horrible headphones, and it doesn't do anything other than pan a sound effect from the left to right speaker, which anyone can do with like a $400 digital recorder and a synth. complete waste of time, space, and well probably not $ cause I doubt it cost Disney anything to make something so pathetic. anyway, who cares about drew carey anymore?!
I much prefer the dragon thing from Mulan in that one attraction there, and I wish I could remember what it was, but I forget.
another disappointment was that stupid nemo ride in the living seas, go in through the gift shop to avoid that disaster, well it's only a disaster if there's a line, if not it's like, eh it's there so go on it just cause.
