I was at Animal Kingdom for a little bit today and noticed an older couple both wearing rainbow colored Epcot Center visors. Have these just been released? They looked brand new, so that's why I ask.

Has anyone who has been over there lately seen anything like this?

OMG! I had one! I wonder if my mom still has ours in the attic...she just recently found mine and my sister's old Minnie and Daisy hats with the long eyelashes. I bet they're still up there somewhere!

I just found a picture of my neighbor and me wearing them at Epcot when we were about 3-4. Mine had a red brim and she had a blue brim. I still remember staring at the blinking lights on the bus ride home to the resort =[

Ya know, with only one or two selective edits, that song is a great summation of EPCOT Center... basically drop verse one and enjoy the rest.

The Disneyland Anthology series...certainly a precursor to the EPCOT brand that could have been. Not just a park, not just a television show, but a lifestyle.

As far as the rainbow visors go, I just got back from vacation at Disneyland. While there, I went a few miles down the road to Knotts Berry Farm. Talk about a time warp. There was a barrel full of the rainbow hats.

They also had the slap bracelets and pogs. It was too cool.

I saw the light-up visors in the Sing-a-long Songs tape of Disneyland Fun I had when I was little & decided that I was going to get one with a red visor when I went when I was 4. I think I still have it in my closet somewhere.
