But it has been delayed so many times. It was pushed back to Phase 3 when Asia was delayed because of construction delays of Kali River Rapids. Then it has been continually pushed back because Disney doesn't want to spend the money on a park that is doing badly.

AK is doing bad because too many people are going there looking for thrills. AK, like Epcot is a learning experience. Also, wouldn't you think Disney would spend money on it so it won't do bad?

They must be plannig something.

Even though AK, had only one ride when I went: Countdown To Extiction (Now called Dinosaur), I really enjoyed it, it was unlike any zoo i have ever been to, it was really authentic, and the theming of the cafes and shops was amazing. I spent a whole day there.

If Disney puts too many rides in then people will just bypass the animals and go to the big rides, which would not be the complete AK experience, but i think they should at least put one new ride/area in:)

How do you figure AK is doing so badly?

Show me the money

It's interesting that Disney just annouced a 7.5 Billion Bond issue. If you consider estimated costs as follows:

BK - 1.0 to 1.5 Billion
DisneySea - 3 to 4.5 billion
Monorail expansion - 1 to 2.0 billion.

Cost averaging would show that all three of these projects could be completed with the above bond issue. Now I realize that Disney will probably use most of this money for acquisitions, but I'm hoping that a portion will go towards at least BK, it not the 5th park.

Yeah but look at what they did to Epcot starting in 1994.

They renovated The Land, changed the narration of Spaceship Earth, added Honey, I Shrunk the Audience, and replaced Communacore with Innoventions. Then went World of Motions for Test Track and Horizons for Mission: Space and Journey into Imagination for Journey into Your Imagination. It has become a huge mess now.

The 7.5billion bond issue is heading for AT&T Broadband isnt it?

I would be very surpised to see Disney spend 1 billion on BK. I think $150 million tops.

Jeez, 1.5 for one land in a park? I don't think the whole park cost that much.
