More offsite hotels to offer Extra Magic Hours and extended FastPass+ booking window

They don’t seem to like APers much anymore...the reasons are obvious.

I'm sorry, but this is wrong.

The value proposition for paying the exorbitant premium on Disney properties becomes less and less. First EMH is scaled back, then they add after hours events, now they're opening EMH to even more people that aren't even staying on property. Basically, you're paying the same or more - while they crowd the parks back up. Yay for them, but not for us.

It’s never “wrong” until people say “no”...as all the faux economists around here say.

I had a strong hunch eventually Eisner would look far better in the rearview mirror...we didnt have to drive that far down the road...

Yes, eventually, it can take a few days for it to be linkable to your MDE. For EMH,
they get a paper voucher.

Except these are not hotels that can’t be booked through Disney’s portal...like the “good neighbor” hotels.

You've got to think there will be an AP upcharge at some point for locals to upgrade to 60 day FP bookings. It starts to get old as a passholder to never be able to book FoP or SDMT. If the upgrade cost isn't ridiculous, I'd consider it.

Yep as I mentioned in the original article, the 60 day won't go live immediately, but will be within the next 2 months.

2. A la carte pricing all Over the place.

This is both brazenly confident (in all the crowds that will materialize post-Galaxy’s Edge) and dismissive of those who’ve been loyal to the increasingly overpriced Disney resorts.

And frankly, I think Disney knows what they’re doing here; people might be annoyed but they’re still going to show up.

They’ve taken clear steps to eliminate the single day trips...because they can’t bank the revenue far in advance. It’s not about making money anymore - it’s assuring it long before it comes in.
