This angers me. Disney further erodes the value of its resort guest perks and that's supposed to be OK? I've also heard that Disney is thinking about selling FP for Star Wars attractions. Disney doesn't doesn't think that we are smart enough to notice these slaps in the face.

I think the level of detail Disney has on most park visitors based off website interactions, shopping choices, food choices, magic band data, etc., would be stunning/somewhat terrifying if we could view it. Predictive analysis of guest behavior at Disney would be the easiest job in the world. The response to every price hike and new ticket scheme is met with record demand and 'Thank you may I have another.'

And if you want find out where the slopes are off the ski lift...start there.

You pick up speed quickly once you start down

I'm glad to know that they're making it even more impossible to reserve FastPasses for a regular day-trip. Thanks Disney! ;)👍

Exactly.

For my Jan 2018 two-day trip staying on property, the second I could book fast passes, NONE were to be had for Flight Of Passage. With the additional good neighbor and other properties offering the perk, it will definitely be more difficult.

Ahhh...my lovely assistant has presented the next showcase up for auction....

In case any of you “worlders” don’t know - look up Disneyland’s incredibly successful max pass system...

And consider what it means?

I think Hilton?

Maybe Hyatt?

Not “Disney”

In case anyone is not familiar...a guy held that track of land out from Disney starting in 1965...they would never meet his price. It’s surrounded on all sides.

In response, Disney blocked Any development there through their control of the local government for decades...only giving in once they had burned enough bridges and the “newness” of Disney in central Florida wore off about 20 years ago.

It’s insane really to bury that for what this does for Disney...which is minor on the surface.

This isn’t about tomorrow’s revenue...it’s about flooding the parks to increase the appeal of Upsells and block pricing...

I’m not implying they’re trying to screw the on property people. I’m flat out saying it.

It's basically whichever hotel is willing to pay for the added features.

It's funny because the signs pointing to the Bonnet Creek Resorts are just outside the entrance, much smaller than the other typical signs and have a different shade of purple. It's almost as if those signs were put in as an afterthought. I'm sure it has less to do with WDW and more because the RCID government needs to have a direction sign to them somewhere.

These two surprise me. They really are off-property. I would expect the hotels at Flamingo Crossings which are on-property to get this before these hotels.

One has more expensive rooms...for one

Correct, whoever will pay wins

Who is “reedy creek” again? Signage is there, they benefit...but they never wanted to advertise it.

Of course now BOBs built Disney rooms
That look like marriotts...and bob Dylan wrote a song about it

Since Disney doesn't have access to these other hotel databases and you link the resort reservation yourself, if you get your FP+ selections at 60 days out and cancel within those various company policies, DO YOU STILL KEEP YOUR FP+ selections?

Asking for a friend.

What kind of a slimebucket “friend” cheats for a ride on big thunder mountain?

I know an immature one...at a minimum 😎

You know someone is bound to try it.....

I was happy about them closing the loopholes but now think maybe they did that just to make room for all the additional offsite people now added into the mix. Frustrating.

There is definitely some type of communication between the 2 systems, as that is what allows the 60-day FP+ benefit to appear in your MDE account to begin with - so the question becomes do they search for cancellations?

I am sorry, new to the discussion, but as soon as I saw this, I felt like it was a big slap in the face to those of us that
stay on property. I have gone to WDW about 12 times. Once I stayed off property, back in 1998. Most times I have
stayed on property and appreciated the benefits of staying on property. Now Disney just says, "Hey, really not a
big deal staying on property, everyone is going to get those benefits." Honestly, does anyone here feel the parks
have not been crowded enough without giving more benefits to those staying off property?
