there's a marketing assistant position open for scholastic...
its right down the street from my school so i'd be able to work a 40 hour week and get bennies. and salary is negotiable, and my sister and i went on salary.com or something like that and someone in a similar position is expected to make 30-35 grand a year. that works out to about 15-17 dollars an hour.

i could deal with that.
i'll be working on my resume tonight after work.
:D

Friday huggles to all.

My first full week covering education, and I think it's gonna be fun. So far, I've done stories on poor schools suing the state for funding, gas prices affecting bus budgets, our search for a new superintendent and the long waiting list for pre-K in the county. (Hmm...that all sounds really negative stacked together like that.)

Do you have an articles regarding Information Tech in education. I have a interview next week for Director of Tech/Media

I haven't done anything like that yet. If you go to http://www.ewa.org/ and do a search, you can find education stories on any number of topics.

Good luck at the interview.

Comming home we stopped for gas and something to eat.
And we almost got killed by some donkey butt who blew a red light!

Question: What are those two pollution emmiting plants on the Turtle River? (I think thats the name)

Gotta love the local drivers. I've had a few close calls myself lately. Where did you eat?

That's probably the pulp mill you saw. There's also a Hercules plant and a sewage plant pretty close together. Step outside in Brunswick and take a deep breath. That's the smell of money. Piquant, ain't it?

That one made it up on the "board" this week. (The place the boss puts the stuff he likes for one reason or another.)

I've notified the IT people of your log-in problem. They're going to look into it, but they're having trouble logging in. :animwink:

Can't remember the name of the place, it was late, some chain.
We are talking about a trip to see Charleston & Savannah, maybe we can add your town to the list. (and spend a little more time than a quick visit to the rest stop  )

Whatever these two plants are they are close together and look quite lovely all lit up at night. In the day its another story.
