You mean one main ghost right... for example the Wedding Ghost with the Beating Heart as the focal ghost through most of the movie. Not that there will only be one ghost and that's it. Since conception the Hauinted Mansion has been about 999 ghosts. I can understand not wanting to overwhelm your viewers, but they can't narrow down to one only. :eek:

Well, I don't know Spidey. All I know is that it said "Eddie Murphy moves into a haunted house, meets a ghost." :confused: :hammer:

I'm betting you're wrong. I went to www.comingsoon.net and it said the story of the movie. ( The one with Eddie Murphey as a flouist like I said ). Why would they just call it The Haunted Mansion if they don't even go to a Haunted Mansion like you said??????

Umm,I clicked on that link and it wasn`t there,I had to do a search and it said that he meets a ghost:confused: Doesn`t say he`s a florist or about a "mansion".

I went to the web site spider-man suggested and it does say somthing about one ghost. I'm betting there's going to be more than one. That would be such a drag. You know Disney! They wouldn't allow somthing like that to happen. They wouldn't even be staying close to the ride if they did that. It said that there would be a number of visuals that were used in the ride. That means more than one!!!

Okay, I went to spider-man's 2nd link, and that web site has some links to other web sites and it says that it has more than 1 ghost!:sohappy: The ghosts include Madam Leota and Master Gracy. The "1" ghost that other web sites have mentioed is what I believe, a friendly ghost that Eddie Murphey makes friends with. The thing about Eddie Murphey being a flourist is true.

Hey, that's good new. So they've released more info on it. Like I said, when I FIRST read info on the movie, it said it was ONE ghost. If they've released more info on it saying there'll be more (thankfully) it doesn't mean I was wrong... :D ;)

ok now what is right? In Spideys first link it says he is a real estate agent and he meets 999 ghosts,and in the second link it just says he`s a father and he meets A ghost! Nothing about a florist!:confused:

These are all mixed things and I guess we'll never know the true story line until we see the actual movie. I definately hope Eddie Murphy sees 999 ghosts instead of one. Maybe the one ghost that many web sites are talkin about is a Haunted Mansion ghost out of the 999 who is friendly.

i also remember reading somewhere on CS that there won't be many or no visual ghosts (so think the others) then they turned around andsaid that they were going to use elements of the ride for some of the visual....can they make up their minds?!?!

Don Knotts

Don't forget that Don Knotts was seen a few years ago in Pleasantville as the scary, mysterious character that locked the main characters in the past. Critics raved.

That role, combined with his past connection to Disney, would seem to make him especially suited for this film.
