More Airline Hassles

For all of us SW PA travelers, I see that US Air is discontinuing all non-stop flights to Florida after the 1st of the year. Glad I'm sneaking in under the wire. This is really affect my future trip planning.....

Airlines. They just keep getting better and better. Disney needs their own airline!

Has Southwest taken up the slack there yet for Florida?

We gave up on US Air a few years ago when they told us a lost bag was still in Orlando and then we walked out of the baggage office, to see the lone bag coming down the belt, an hour after the rest of the bags. It isn't so much that they "lost" the bag but they really had no clue where it was, yet lead us to believe that they did. There were a few of these incidents over the years with US Air in Pittsburgh, so we've become Southwest converts. :wave:

Southwest is picking up the slack at some airports. They added another MCO flight by me this past June or July. But They will be removing it in the beginning of the new year.
