Hey Guys

I had the greatest Idea for a ride. Its based on the place where they store the doors in the Monsters INC. movie. It would be a rollar coaster and the door would be the car and your feet would dangle and the back would be the door. I think that would be the greatest idea for a ride. Disney should definatly make it. Everyone i told it too liked the idea.

I want to know what all you guys think about it and if you think disney should make it.:sohappy:

I had that idea years ago, when the movie came out. I think it would work.....not a coaster coaster, but something fast and well themed.

Yeah, I remember it being talked about on here a few times in the past too. It's a cute idea. Wasn't there a rumor awhile back of this happening at Disneyland, or am I making that up? Was there any validity to it?

There was a ride similar to this that was in development at WDI. In fact their was talk about a special ride system that was developed for it. It was a single rider seat that dangled from above. Apparently they even tested it on Peter Pan. But, alas when it came time to create a Monsters Inc. ride, they went cheap.

Basicly everybody figured that the Monsters Inc. door chase scene would make a great roller coaster ride when it came out. I agree, it would be fun, but Disney has enough thrill rides on their hands right now.

If going in that direction....why not an EAC (East Atlantic Current) themed rollercoaster from Finding Nemo. An under water themed coaster could be cool. And you could ride on Crush. :)

I remember my daughter telling me an idea similar to that she had after seeing the movie. I guess it's more popular than I thought lol. I think I even posted it on here someplace when she told me about it...I thought aaawwe how sweet, she's already thinking to be an imagineer!!! LOL

No more rollercoasters! People complain that Disney is not originally but yet they want more rollercoasters? They should be coming up with new and different rides rather than just wrapping a theme around the same old old technology.

Please, please, please... no more Coasters...
And while we are at it, no more Pixar.
They are great movies, but surely the public would enjoy an original attraction (Haunted Mansion, PoC, BTMR). Or an existing Disney character (Little Mermaid, Aladin, etc.)

personally, i don't think there are enough coasters at wdw. yes, there's a lot of little kid coasters, but nothing overly enjoyable (ex- barnstorm- nothing to it. my little brother doesnt even like that).. we need something else like rnrc, nice and fast, loops, turns. space mt is kid friendly, and if you're talking about having monsters inc in that kind of concept (kid friendly) then i think that's great. the teens and adults need some rides too!.. not saying i dont enjoy everything at disney, i love it all.. it would be nice to have some more thrills though :p great idea!

hmm... how about.. no more synergized movie based attractions with little or no redeeming value!
