I think Simpsons is actually pretty tame when you consider that they could bring in Family Guy or Alien.
Reminder that Alien used to be in MGM.

The alien in the Alien Encounter was not the xenomorph from the Alien franchise. And in MK.
Lilo and Stitch. Brother Bear. What else am I forgetting?Animation Courtyard will be a good fit for the ‘Monsters Inc.’ area.
Opens up some opportunities, for now and the future.
Still a little tinge of sadness will be about me when they bulldoze those buildings.
Some real animation history happened there a few decades ago…

I have a difficult time seeing Disney using the Simpsons. “I’m Bart Simpson, who the h*** are you?” and Homer screaming and strangling him just doesn’t jive with their brand.
I agree they aren't as relevant now as they once were, I disagree with not jiving with the brand. Not everything they do has to for all ages.I have a difficult time seeing Disney using the Simpsons. “I’m Bart Simpson, who the h*** are you?” and Homer screaming and strangling him just doesn’t jive with their brand. The property no longer seems relevant and whatever they do Universal would have done it better. Please no!
There is nothing about the Simpsons that feels like it fits the Disney brand... Regardless if it is for all ages or not.I agree they aren't as relevant now as they once were, I disagree with not jiving with the brand. Not everything they do has to for all ages.
I just watched something that said it was originally a xenomoroh but they changed it before actually opening. source could be wrong though… it was Poseidon entertainments most recent video. The alien in the Alien Encounter was not the xenomorph from the Alien franchise.
I believe it was originally intended to be a Xenomorph, but they decided against it since the film is rated R.I just watched something that said it was originally a xenomoroh but they changed it before actually opening. source could be wrong though… it was Poseidon entertainments most recent video.
My God that show was pretty scary to begin with. That would have been AMAZING, although not for everyone.I believe it was originally intended to be a Xenomorph, but they decided against it since the film is rated R.
It had its origins in a pitch to do an Alien attraction. It wasn’t what was developed and wasn’t part of the first version that soft opened.I just watched something that said it was originally a xenomoroh but they changed it before actually opening. source could be wrong though… it was Poseidon entertainments most recent video.
This may be unlikely but I’d love to see them do a spiritual successor to Alien Encounter at DHS based on the recent success of Romulus. Just a simple, standalone attraction based on a cool sci-fi franchise. My God that show was pretty scary to begin with. That would have been AMAZING, although not for everyone.
This would have been perfect for the Racing Academy space. Turn the back of Sunset into a more scary/adult area. This may be unlikely but I’d love to see them do a spiritual successor to Alien Encounter at DHS based on the recent success of Romulus. Just a simple, standalone attraction based on a cool sci-fi franchise.
This would bring back a taste of the 90s MGM feel that many of us have been missing
In the promotional material and early concepts it was toyed with. The shilouette in the early ads was a xenomorph.I just watched something that said it was originally a xenomoroh but they changed it before actually opening. source could be wrong though… it was Poseidon entertainments most recent video.
