because we are all sick and tired of them replacing existing attractions
That is fair... Although, I do think Rockin's theming is a bit dated. I do agree with your point.

I imagine Disney isn't trying to look towards hiring MORE people to EXPAND parks... That might be an issue for them, actually... I feel like they HAVE to have a hard time filling in every position in every park, every resort, every bus, every everything at their resort. Plus, since they like money, that's also more people to pay.

I dunno, man...

Did not see it myself but a coworker said they saw height test balloons by muppets the other morning before park open

I think the top grossing franchises that Disney owns, but isn't currently using in the parks are:
  • Ice Age (6.42 billion)
  • The Simpsons (4.9 billion) [Don't have the rights at the moment]
  • Inside out (2.61 billion)
  • The Incredibles (2.37 billion)
  • Planet of the Apes (2.27 billion)
Zootopia is ~$1 billion, but with a sequel on the way, it will probably jump into this list.

From an upstream post, Cars (~$21B) is the highest-grossing franchise that (1) Disney owns; (2) that they're legally allowed to build in WDW; (3) that does not have a dedicated ride in WDW.

That $21B is box office + merch.

100%, I just didn't include it because 2 rides have been announced.

I'm kind of sad they couldn't save DINOSAUR and make C&H ice age themed.

Back to Monsters Inc... As much as people don't like it, I have to imagine Disney is thinking of doing something Simpsons long term and DHS is the only one I can see it fitting in (unless we have Itchy and Scratchy land in animal kingdom). So, I can see them saving AC for that

Seriously though: im starting to get weary of this whole cycle. It basically has been a game of telephone with no real picture or hard trusted insider proof. While i am cautiously optimistic about animation courtyard, i do take into account the balloon talk. But until i hear a consensus from a large amount of insiders that it is muppets, one from a very trusted person like martin or Steve, or see actual photo proof the balloons, i choose to remain in “it is still undecided”.

I think at this point, we should all wait for actual evidence other than what people say.

Of course, we should wait.

So...back to RnRC while we wait, then?
