Yes, limiting the argument to the moment ground is broken to the opening does shine a good light on the projects time wise. You are exactly correct about the moment ground is broken to opening dates on those past projects.All that being said they have not announced an opening year for Monsters. I fully expect Tropical Americas to open by end of 2027 and I assume that if they break ground on Monsters next year and announce an opening in 2028 that they will hit that target as well.
In August of this year at D23, I think Josh said dirt was moving on some of these upcoming projects already? I may have heard it wrong, darn human emotions!
I guess it’s just me, but they seem to talk about doing stuff way too soon, and as we saw with what we ended up in EPCOT (for whatever reason) did not resemble early concepts.
Looking forward to the 2027 opening of Tropical Americas and the 2028 opening of Monsters!
