It has been extremely hit and miss the last few weeks in Orlando, most days for the last week it has rained numerous times during the day and then all of a sudden we get beautiful weather....then down pour!

It is strange though as quite ofen the parks empty out alot during that weather, but this year it is the complete opposie, they are staying busy. Last night for example, went to the Magic Kingdom around about 19:00 maybe 19:30, and there was more people waiting to get the monorail from TTC to MK than was coming back.

In fairness it was an extra magic hours night and for resort guests it was open until 2, but alot of those people walked from the parking lot not Disney Transport.
I noticed a ton of that too....a TON of people were leaving EPCOT to go to MK. (:lol::lookaroun)

How's the weather? I think that effect our extension, too. Crowds were OK, but it poured for us...
It rained over here till bout noon and then I went to the movies at like 3 and it rained while I was in there but when I came out at like 4:30, 4:45 it was done. But the rain we did have was very sparatic, maybe that's what the issue was?

Now there might be a point but wouldn't they do like early early in the morning or right at the time the actual fatality took place? That's what I would think, in order to try and keep inconvenice to a minimum.
I was thinking more due to findings in the investigation......

Interesting. I left MK and the TTC from the Express Monorail at 8:25pm that day.

I also noticed that the Resort Monorail to MK had to brake every now and then & not because we had to stop at each Resort Station.

The driver seemed hesitant to drive without fear...

For the few hours or so I was there yesterday, crowds seemed about average but certainly not "light". The first year of the free dining plan ('06, I think) seemed much less crowded.

We were waiting for the resort monorail at Contemporary yesterday and heard the one monorail worker say something about there being six managers outside looking at the rail. We saw two of them, but couldn't figure out what they were looking for/at. They did rush out the one monorail out of the Contemp pretty quickly, the girl was on the phone saying that she was about to send the monorail out right at that minute.

Could have been "chasing ambers" which means he was getting a signal that he was coming up on the train ahead of him, but it cleared back to Green before he had to stop completely. It's frustrating being behind slow drivers....

We were at the MK Resort Monorail station waiting for a ride to the Contemporary when in comes a monorail which proceeds to unload. The doors for us to load open for a second or two BUT NOT our metal gates and then the doors to the monorail closed. The monorail started to move like it was going to leave the station without loading anyone...then it jerked back a foot or so and we loaded. Was one of the weirdest things I recall seeing on the monorail line for as long as I can remember...

^^ That IS odd..

Lord lets hope they run in the rain, if they don't than they might as well close the park from april-august.:ROFLOL: And yes, there was no severe weather.
Heh! Indeed...

What, and just stop over space? Yeah, ours did that too.
