Maybe not two years, but the dang thing was filthy inside. Not show ready at all. Not by a mile.
Definitely not two years. But it happens, rebuilding a monorail will mean things get dirty. But I noticed that the windows were a bit frosty, I hope that they forgot to set the A/C units to 78!

EEEKK!! It's out!! So what, would it be like 2 weeks at most before it officially circulates guests?? Did it even transport any today? Or was today another quick test day?

It should have today. But apparently when it was being routinely checked in the station, the CMs found out it was filthy inside and refused to load Guests onto it, so it went back for cleaning.

Well, to me, that's GREAT!! I am a cast member at Chuck E. Cheese's right now, and our guests are MY (I dunno about everyone else) number one priority. If I was in charge of Peach for the day, I just might do the same thing. It's a ''NEW'' train although I know it's not new, so they want Peach to have a good first impression!! Very understandable. Are you a pilot Peachy??

It looks a beaut!

Many thanks for sharing, glad it was sent back to be internally cleaned. Good for the Cast Members standing up. :)

I miss the old rear strobes. I don't mind the LED ones but I would have preferred a different flash pattern!

Are they switching to LEDs on all the trains? I thought the other 11 were still using the strobes when I was there in June...

Looks nice. Its definitely a peachy color, though I could see how at certain times (like in the evening) it could be confused with Gold.

No offense, but it looks nothing like Gold to me. At first it looked Orange, then Yellow kinda, but not Gold...

See, I would never confuse it with Yellow or Orange, but Gold I can see. In bright daylight, I agree that Peach and Gold look nothing alike. But depending on the lighting I can see how it could be difficult to distinguish between the two, especially if all you did was take a quick glance.

Another interesting tidbit, if you look closely at the edges of the doors when they are open (in person) you can see the overspray of Pink and Purple paint on the different cars still.

That is interesting, so does that mean cabs 1 and 6 were only fixed and/or parts were reused? I know cars 2-5 would be all one color (pink/purple I forget which parts of what train went where).

which is another reason it was stupid to get rid of the colors... doesn't change the trains
